Id settle for defile being fixed

they should make frost less CD dependent and deal consistent damage. Its annoying that both specs play the same in terms of big burst windows every 2-3 minutes

It desperately needs a rework, I play unholy this season and I can’t stand it now. Other melee specs are so much more fun to play.
I really wish the DK community, especially theorycrafters and guide writers were more vocal about such small buffs being meaningless, especially when you don't have the luxury of PI in your main raid groups. We need a bit of a rework, and slightly more well thought out buffs. I really hope we get some sort of anti-PI change next expansion... something to ensure the spec still feels playable and worth sticking to in the absence of that buff.
Rework I’d like for unholy but it will affect all specs.
soul reaper made baseline.
Superstrain put where soul reaper is.
Bring back the abomination, put it where superstrain is.
Slim down some of our 2 point nodes in the unholy tree to allow us to pick up all will serve, add in a talent for the cleaving bone mages - probably instead of the cleaving death coil.
Add in our current 4-set bonus that extends mage duration but make it army duration. Have that be a choice node for one that gives your army the same damage boost on runic power spent as gargoyle gets.
That way you’re choosing between burst damage by spending runic power or sustained damage by spending runes.
Make apocalypse just truck when you hit with it. So it feels even better to hit.
Turn empower rune weapon to either a 3 minute CD and make it stronger or leave it as is and 1.5 minute CD so it now lines up with everything.
Just make army a 3-minute CD. Having the CD reduced by RP spent is cool in raids but just feels clunky in m+ where you can get so much off dead time.
Been playing DK since wrath I love it but this xpac it’s hard AF to get invited to groups

Concerning Unholy they must separate pets and disease playstyle. Give us the opportunity to decide the prefered playstyle within the Talent tree.
Ideally both equally viable.
Remove the pet dmg scaling from mastery and add a talent that replaces shadow damage with pet damage.
Change festering wounds from combo point-like to a simple auto ticking and stacking damage over time.
Drastically increase the damage of our core abilities like Death Coil and our diseases.
Remove the dead talents in our general tree that no one ever picked in any situation or that must be picked in order to reach certain crucial talents and replace them with cool and interesting stuff.
Rework did nothing for Pallys
They also need more defence for PVP as we are made out of paper!
Imo dk needs rework especially frost with breath
You currently need alot of helping hands to dps and blood will always be vulnerable to one shot even if you enjoy the adrenaline rush it gives.
I want more pvp defensives, happy to see a pve buff though
Unfortunately, Blizard seems to believe frost and unholy dk specs are fine because we do ok in mediocre content, when we have evokers and priests buffing us... Without them we are about useless, and virtually absent in higher PVE content.
I guess they ve recently told that there is this death knight class exist in the game…
that graph with buff overlay was really good. seems blizzard only care about raid balance?...
It's the only thing they have a chance at somewhat balancing. M+ and pvp is never ever going to happen
Pretty solid evidence Blizz looks at logs when considering what classes to buff. Frost was all ready simming very high but was very low on logs and now will be one of the highest simming classes post buff.
2 months later and how is that looking? its bottom of the barrel
Dk dps, need a rework with less set up dmg profile. Every spec just burst with two buttons and we are here pressing 6 buttons to start dealing damage when half of the pack is dead.
So true. Our set up is 12 buttons then start a silly rotation. I only do damage in 18+ keys since everything is dead before setup is complete.

They needed to not mess with Unholy dam profile and they also should have buffed them after the PI nerf.
I can’t believe Ret pallet’s are getting 15-20% damage buff. They’re already topping damage in mythics and raids
What spec is stronger for m+ right now? Raid?
They're both pretty good at both, neither are top tier in either type of content

I mean a rework would absolutely be great but as i always say a buff is a buff so I wont complain for unholy.
