I can hear the struggle in trying to maintain Ceroba's voice. Good work, though!
Wow! This is the best cover of A Mother’s Love (based on lyrics) I’ve ever heard! It really nails Ceroba’s personality, her determination, and her sheer will for monsterkind to prosper, as opposed to every other cover that’s just her yelling, “IM GOING TO MURDER YOU BECAUSE OF MY MOTHER’S LOVE RAHHHHHHHH”
This perfectly encapsulates what I loved about MOTI’s covers- not focused on the fight itself but rather the emotional struggles and the characters’ personality (Berguntrucking is a great example); and makes the climax *satisfying*. This climax has reverb, it has action, it has some key thing that I don’t really know that just makes it more satisfying than, “You’re going to die” or “a mother’s love”. It also FINALLY follows the pitch of Hopes and Dreams (going up then down in pitch) instead of the sporadic randomness of several other covers. Absolutely phenomenal work.
Your cover just feels like a final fight. The recap of the souls, the flashbacks, the brokenness of Ceroba, and the higher-pitched voice for the more intense parts to make them stand out.
Peak cover, keep cooking. I’d love to see a cover of Remedy/Retribution (maybe make Retribution a duet with Clover singing a twisted version of your Enemy Retreating cover, showing that they have lost all sense of morality, and Martlet slowly tiring out?)

I've listened to many vocal covers of this song, but i think this one is the only one that (to me) really NAILS Ceroba's sheer desperation in the phase 3 part. Girl's been at her limit for years and has nothing holding her back anymore and I think other lyrical cover don't empazise that too well? Esp the part where Hopes and Dreams kicks in. I feel like not a lot of covers put a lot of Oomph into it, y'know? You did it really well though! Good job!

I prefer this cover compared to the enemy retresting one,theres much less speedup and much less of the lyrics not fitting with the notes,this,like enemy retreating,attemps to,again,kinda be more like thoughts the character has during the song,there arent many issues in this apart from you struggling on the high notes and saying kanakò as kànako,great job!
