I have short hair, just a tad bit longer than yours, brushing my shoulders, and I always thought "SHORT HAIR IS BORING, you can't do any braids!"
But your channel taught me how to do a dutch braid.
Your channel taught me how to do a double dutch braid.
You channel made people compliment the designs.
I have REALLY wavy hair. Like the hair is so wavy, that's it's kinda poofy. AND I HAVE A LOT OF HAIR. But, I was surprised I could make braids, by myself, without begging my mom for help. That really surprised me.
Tomorrow, I'm going out with 2 of my friends, and our mothers (girls day, every saturday) and we're going to a buffet. They always compliment my hair, and even one girl who can't speak English (she's French/Mali and me and my mom are teaching her how to speak English, AND SHE'S DOING GREAT BTW) always trys to say that she LOVES my braids and she loves my hair.
I would love to acheive a braid for tomorrow, and, I hope it will go great!
I don't use any hair straighteners or curlers, I love using my natural wavy hair. And I can't say how much I LOVE how you don't make every hairstyle with a straightener, because if you did, I'd be dead by now. I love how you kind of separate the straightener/non-straightener. That really helps!
I personally love the braids you have here! I've tried your hairstyles and I love them! I, personally for an 11 year old, feel that my hair looks more good than it should XD.

I found your channel a week ago and because of you, I have an appointment tomorrow to chop off all my hair (and donate). My hair has been long for about 10 years and I never thought I would have the courage to cut it short because I do a lot of braiding and updos with my long hair, but lately I have been feeling uninspired and frustrated. It's going to be a big change, but I am SO excited! Just wanted to share, and thank you for bringing me the inspiration I needed!

I went about an inch shorter than your hair and so far, it's the best decision I have made in a long time! I donated about 15 inches in total! It's been a lot of fun figuring out how to work with it!
Same! I’ve been wanting to cut off my hair for a while but because I’m a dancer I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do braids and buns to get it out of my face. Because of her channel I now am confident in cutting my hair. The only downside is my appointment is in two weeks (which doesn’t seem very long, but it is) because I have to wait until after my competition to cut it!

The rope twist has been a life saver! I have a lot of medical problems and it has become very difficult to wash my hair. So when it would get all greasy, I never had a good way to style it...until now! My pain has been really bad lately so I can't even think of washing my hair and its been about a week since I last did it, and yet I still get compliments on my hair! People can't tell I haven't washed my hair. I also love the braid that is similar to a french braid but you only add hair to the front piece. I've only done it once but I've gotten compliments on it.

I've done all those but the last one in my hair and my daughter's hair! They look great in short and long hair! That last one is so unique! I'll definitely try it tomorrow.. I have a really stacked bob, because blunt cuts look like a triangle on me but I think it should still work fine..

Just found you this week and think you are amazing - plus love your hair color. I've been letting my hair grow but it's still got a way to go so have had to improvise on some of your ideas but the French and waterfall braids are my favorites (so far). I also find you extremely UNpretentious and appreciate that part of you beyond words. Keep up the good hair work.
