Loosely translated
Kalmankantaja= Bearer of death, the word is in ”old finnish” Kalma is a synonym for death
1. Valoton= without light
2. Tuhkana tuulessa= ashes in the wind
3. Tulen kammio= Chamber of fire
4. Kalmankantaja
5. Jumalaton = Godless
The albums name ”Kaski” is a old type of farming used in finland. Kaski is field that you burned down. Or you might burn down a forest to make a kaski-field. The ash and coal would make the soil more nutriens and give you a better crop.

I think the album title Kaski explains the meaning behind the artwork. Kaski or kaskeaminen or kasketa (verb) is an very old Finnish word and it is loosely translated something like "to fertilize and cleanse the soil by means of burning" = kasketa. So, Kaski refers to "an area that has been burned " or "on-going process of burning the soil"
