I moved out of my childhood home recently, as I go to college now.
The first week in the new town was hell to be honest, because everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong
But my mom called me every day and we talked and just chatted and stuff and it made these bad days so much better and this song reminds me so much of it
When my family calls me, shit is only half as bad because they're there for me
Cherish those years at college. They are one of the best if not the best years in life. I finished college, got a diploma, and moved back home. Because of covid, I had 1,5 good year there, the rest was spent mostly at home in online school. I have a job here in my childhood town, and I can say that I love my work even tough the salary is a joke, but in the past few months I feeling again that I just try to find my place in life but maybe it's not here. Not even in this country. I feel like in that 1,5 year I had the time of my life. Schooldays spent in another town while I went home for every weekend. Best combination. Loved it totally. So be happy because those days at college are gold.
