WPMI-TV 15 Used Car Auction Clips from February 9, 1986

Aired during an event called the "Ernie Young Chevrolet Used Car Television Auction."
I believe that I have some of the earliest known footage of any local WPMI-TV programming in the country. The only other WPMI bumper montage that I saw only had it go as early as 1994, when it was a FOX affiliate. This may not have the most fascinating content in the world, but as long as something like this is preserved, then I'm a happy camper. More uploads to come soon, so stay tuned!

Broc, I believe that _The Ernie Young Chevrolet Used Car 🚘 Television 📺 Auction_ aired 💨 live at then-independent station 🚉 WPMI NBC 15 in Mobile, Alabama, from noon 🕛--2 pm Central on the afternoon 🔅 of February 9, 1986, during the 1976 PG-rated Western comedy 🎭 movie 🎬 _The Duchess and the Dirtwater 💦 Fox 🦊,_ which starred 💫 both _Laugh 😄-In_ alumnus Goldie Hawn and the late ⏰ George Segal _(_Just Shoot Me_)_ in the title roles.

And second of all, please 🙏🏻 tell Broc that same station 🚉 became the new Fox 🦊 affiliate eight months later on the night 🌚 of October 9, 1986, with _The Late ⏰ Show 📺 Starring 💫 Joan Rivers_ after that same two ✌️🏻-hour live event 🎫 aired 💨.
