Being different and unique from others is probably a wonderful gift but also an unfortunate curse at the same time. Some people want to be like you, but most people would prefer to stay away from you. Most of us would call it unfair, and it is, I'm not going to deny it, but it is a natural human reaction to be cautious and avoid the minority because they are fearful of your social plausibility/tolerability and their own social acceptability. So don't blame them for identifying you as different and wanting you out of their circle, because the truth is, you don't and will never fit into their world. And even if you do try, it will be an out of place circumstance, both from your and their perspective.
As unfortunate and dismal as it is to discover that you cannot fully be a part of the normal society, it is what you must understand and eventually accept. Now most people would use "being different" and an excuse to escape from who they really are and try to forcefully and desperately fit into the norms by doing what they think other people want them to do, however, they will soon discover that it is a much worse decision to take. In this video we will talk about how you should handle yourself being different from others, and the mindset you can embrace & utilize going forward in life as a unique individual.

      Embracing Uniqueness: Navigating the Journey:
Forged, your video resonated deeply with me. It's a profound exploration of the human condition, particularly for those who find themselves on the fringes of societal norms.
Your point about the duality of being different - a gift and a curse - is a poignant truth. It's a gift because it allows us to see the world from a unique perspective, to bring fresh ideas and solutions to the table. Yet, it's also a curse because it often leads to isolation and misunderstanding from the majority.
The societal instinct to be wary of the different, the unique, is indeed a natural human reaction. It's a survival mechanism ingrained in us from our earliest days as a species. However, as you rightly pointed out, it's crucial not to internalize this as a personal failing or a reason to blame others. It's simply a facet of human nature.
The realization that we may never fully fit into the societal mold can indeed be a harsh one. Yet, as you've highlighted, it's an essential step towards self-acceptance. Trying to force oneself into a mold that doesn't fit is not only futile but can also lead to a loss of self-identity and authenticity.
Your video serves as a powerful reminder that being different isn't something to be shunned or feared. Instead, it's something to be embraced and celebrated. It's a call to stay true to oneself, to honor our uniqueness, and to forge our own path in life.
Thank you for sharing this insightful and thought-provoking content. It's a valuable perspective that can help many navigate their journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Looking forward to more such enlightening content from you. Keep up the great work!

Well to be fair we all want to be a part of the herd. But the question is, does the herd share similar values as us "the outcast". 99.9% of the time the answer is no, and they reject us for being different

This is so interesting. Growing up I never wanted to be part of the popular group. They seem to not really like each other. But tolerate each other. Everything seemed forced and a bit insincere. But I unfortunately always got the attention of someone in that popular group. Usually wanting a relationship and when I didn't respond how they wanted me to, than the bullying started. No matter what age I experienced the same situation only the person was different.
My family likes the popular crowds I just never did. My best friend was goth I used to sometimes hang out with her and her friends. Sometimes I think about wearing more clothes like them. In order to not be mistaken for a person of the popular crowd.

But I was obsessed with my own interest like writing, attaining more knowledge about everything, drawing, etc. Me talking being by myself scared others away, soon though I accepted that I will always be the odd one out. Ive taken years of pain and isolation is and turned it into my advantage. Now I know how cruel and hiveminded people are when you don’t act or look like them. The fact that im here explains it all, I never fit in with the majority of society, I've always been a lone wolf, an outsider, someone who stood out from the majority. I would say that im very unconvential, quirky, eccentric, and bizarre. I never felt normal like the other kids.
Sometimes it's okay to be different, because why, because we aren't sheep and we do our own thing in life, im learning to accept myself for who I am.
In a way, wherever I go, im actually somewhat admired and adored for my personality, and was kind of well-liked by my peers, coworkers and friends for my unique and unconventional perspective of life, and how I stay true to who I am, and am not the one to follow the crowd and does his own thing.

Some days, it feels like I will never be happy or find my mojo and that I am destined for failure. Deep down, though, there is an empowering voice telling me to embrace my uniqueness, and that there is indeed light at the end of the dark tunnel. The last thing I want is to lose myself for the sake of fitting in to the masses.

I've been really struggling a lot to find out the groups where I can feel a sense of belonging. And even I thought maybe it's just our country's conservativeness. Because even my family and friends are not like me. but I feel like it's just me being unique and different from others(the majority). I've been told "I'm really unique" in a good way. But sometimes it frustrates me I can't even relate to my surroundings' thoughts and their mindset because the way of thinking is too different. most people don't even care what I truly care about - what to pursue in our life, discovering who I am, who I want to be and how I want to live, diversity&inclusion, gender equality, social impact.
And now I realize that I just need to accept that I'm not part of the majority and who I am, strength my ability to change world and influence people. The loneliness will follow most of the time but if I'm just true to myself and do what I mostly care about, I believe the group of people that matches my value will come to me and build our own surroundings afterward.
Thank you so much for the video.

You have to let go of that fear otherwise you'll just be a prisoner inside yourself and you will never reach your full potential. Being different is a gift and a curse. People will hate you even more if you try to desperately fit in because they can sense your inauthenticity. Be authentic and take the criticisms on the chin, and at the same time work on yourself and capitalize on your uniqueness to the point where you are able to prove yourself that despite your differences, you are someone of value and can provide value to the world. Then people will start to change their perspective of you.

I'm Japanese but I spent almost all my prepubescent and early teen years in LA. I'm currently in my last year of HS in Japan but I feel like an outcast due to my interests/hobbies, language ability, and general way of thinking. Being able to speak English in Japan really has its benefits and I'm entering one of the most prestigious universities in Japan but I do get some resentment and jealousy for having it easy lol. @Forged88  Před 2 lety +10

You need to embrace your differences instead of neglecting it just to please other people. Because they will intuitively know you're faking it, and with you desperately trying to fit in, its just going against the things that you value for yourself just for the sake of other people's validation, which in the long term, will make you unhappy even if you do fit in.
I understand the need for human affection and intimacy for all of us, but thats just the curse of being different, we will get much less of them and even worse, none at all. You need to immerse yourself in your own unique world and build it to the point where people will start to notice it by themselves. It is much better to be appreciated by being genuine and different than being resented by being fake and synonymous.

Now this is the best video on yt I found. Thanks man for all the vids you have made, you explain some subtle but important aspects of life that the red pill does not show us , many pick up and red pill yt teach you that you should try to be seen like a Chad , an Adonis. But watching your vids made me realise that most of the times, especially at the beginning to truly become the pinnacle you will have to do things that look weak, strange , that make people reject you and see you as weird and even insecure , so you have the choice to be seen like an Alpha , as a high value man or to truly start becoming one , but not for others, not to get girls , or to get Guy's respect because then you will just chose to just the first option. Don't chase the admiration of others but chase to become someone worthy of being admired. Primarily this video , the respect video and the King video and the walking away video made me realise those things. Again man, thanks for all your vids. I usually drawing something quite unique, focusing on sketching people but in a different twista. I remember back in my highschool days and even in college days I drew everyone out of my interest and gained some friends at my fair prime while studying in computer programming course. But now after I'm recovering via NoFap and in my early 30's, I feel I'm not the same as before and I'm below underground in the popularity circle. That video of yours gave me courage to help pursue my dreams and preserving my talent. Even if I can handle my loneliness and enjoying solitude but deep down I am still feel I'm an outcast from others despite my efforts. Even my old friends and colleagues abandoned me. Even I was bit hunrgy for reaching popularity and status, all of my feeling of being outcast and being left behind and depression are all sublimated through anything in creativity. 1:25 This is exactly what I've been experiencing in my professional career. It is exceptionally difficult to deal with being an outcast when your livelihood depends on it. Unfortunately, there is not solution when the reason you are different is something you were born with. Like you mentioned, if I as a non-white person strive to be "more white" it is clearly disingenuous.

There is a scene from a show called "Penny Dreadful" where the protagonist and Dorian Gray (yes THAT Dorian Gray) are sitting down to dinner. Dorian equates being different with being powerful.
He's right in a way. It takes strength to allow yourself to be different, to accept that you are different. Once you do, you begin realize you are capable of seeing things, doing things and even thinking things others simply are not.
For me personally, to surrender my uniqueness for the benefit of the herd was and still is an unacceptable compromise, especially when I already have a small circle that accepts me as I am. Those tend to be higher quality friends anyway, but that's a whole 'nother sermon. Lol

Don't be a follower to be in a large crowd to fit in , because the larger of your crowd is , the bigger of how fake you are , keep your circle small and learn to be alone to isolate yourself to others, focused on yourself let people guess your next move

I don't care if people agree to my opinion or not, but i relate to this in school i have no friends just few people to talk to cuz all of them are into dumb stuff that annoys me and i rlly hate and cuz of that reason they sometimes treat me different not only in school but outside too, is it my fault?
