The Specter mask for me won't spawn during the day, so I'm going to try in the evening.
@@danielchu1539 it worked during the day for me, for this and for the first mask, I shot at the targets using a pistol instead of my primary and it did spawn the hunter.

DUDE! I was in DC and I was geeking out how well the city is modelled in the game. I was looking at places and thinking of how I liquidated various bosses in those very spots.

Yo this helped me big time. One thing that wasn't mentioned is that for the Specter mask, you have to single shot the windows. I couldn't get the hunter to spawn with my AR so I switched to a rifle, and he spawned. Most of my AR shots were 2 bullets to each window. Rifle = best. 👍
I hit a few with two shots by accident with my ar and he spawned, probably for the most part it needs one shot but doesn’t matter if u accidentally hit it with two a couple times, just make sure it’s definitely during the day, i couldn’t get him to spawn at night. i figured since he said “you CAN do it during the day” i figured it didn’t matter, apparently it does 😂
@@sHighGuy Haha, no luck for me with the double tap even on just 2 windows. Tried maybe more than 15 times, rifle was first time 👍. Did it in the day.
@@RambroPrime Can confirm. Messed with this for hours and he would not spawn. Single shot to each window is what spawned it for me, no misses, no double taps. If anyone's having issues I would try this.

Keep in mind ALL of these will have to be done at night, idk how he got the first to spawn in daylight but I needed them all to be night
Pro tip if you have the technician specialisation unlocked use it cause all it takes is 6 rockets that direct impact in one burst takes them out

I did some of these way back in the early life of the game and before I got to end game. It was so hard. I remember doing the wraith mask and I had help and we kept dying but since someone was alive we didn't wipe and we kept retreating and he kept chasing us all the way back to the safehouse. I had to redo the death, phantom, cross and diamond mask 3 times since some of the mask didn't drop. We lured them to the nearest control point but the hunters turned it into a unclaimed control point after wiping out all the civilians. Ah fun time.... I also remember the spector mask had trouble spawning even if all the right windows was shot. I had to go to another players sessions to do it.

Great refresher! I'd forgotten a lot of the interact requisites and locations. I remember in early days saluting every damn statue I came across, going back and forth to the reddit to update what worked. 😉
Add: Aww, I'll have to go back through your library of vids to remember what the deal was with the tiger eyes. Could have swore that was a secret mask or something, memory fuzzy on that one.

When i got scorpio exotic i killed all hunters
Just use protection from elites build. Hard to get
Strikers build
3 umbra 2 striker protection from elites I killed all in less than 25-30mins that includes stopping to peek at this lmao

@@iSimplist The only one that gave me any issues the was the one that spawns the 2 hunters at once. Where you do the jumping jacks in the fountain. Had to get a friend to help with that one. The rest went fine though. Need to hit the NYC ones now
@@Cyverion with that I had completly no problem spawning them, but the ghost hunter that I have to salute the three graves doesn't work for me,like I salute and i dont get that ui distortion or anything so I cannot get last key sadly..

I can stress this enough. Watching this hurts because instead of staying true to location and direction needed he says long winded statements that drag on and on cause the tutorial to be more pain than help. Example in the final mask part of this tutorial he says we need to salute three Graves, easy right? Wrong because he only tells you after his extra dialog that you have to do it at night so you wait then after having done that part he wait until you have listened to his entire grave route to tell you you now have to wait again till the next morning because it takes him from the time you started running to each grave to explain the next on. Oh and your guessed it you have to wait till morning is the last part his states about this. Just the order of directions feel all over the place is all I am saying simplified is better cords and short form accurate direction. Not his by the by loose direction nonsense.
Me and my homie were able to get 8 out 12 masks in one play through. Those 4 hunters are no joke, each time we were only able to kill 1 or 2 Hunters ugh 😩 But now my wall of masks is looking sweet!!!!! Thank you Skillz! Keep up the good work Agent!
Kind of a shame Hunter masks don't give you slight benefits to certain things like armour or weapon damage, but never the less, hunter masks are pretty cool.

True..like Skyrim, the Dragon Priest masks each have their unique enchantments. Would be nice to see the same for each Hunter mask giving them more of a unique feel knowing that each Hunter was specialized in something.

This was a big mistake for the division to do this. The hunters should spawn rarely and randomly. No person on earth other than Indiana Jones could figure this stuff out without inside information.
Exclusives by complicated steps have always been a part of video games. It's not always fun but they're also not necessary at all. My only question is how do people find these things? Like who's the first person to go to that pool and do jumping jacks at night? Who finds 3 Graves and know to salute them? Who shoots all the windows in a certain order and why? Lol

My friend was asking what mask was I wearing (the death mask) and I told him and he did not know about the hunters so I agree.
Yet here we are watching a video on how to do it.....and I don't think Indy had anything to do with any of the discoveries.

Just did the 4 hunter one with a bro and we had reanimated on by mistake so when I killed the first he came back with full armor 😂
I did the 4 hunter in the tree only got to kill 2 of them with the last key since the other roamed and despawned I guess, then after opening the ivory chest went back on the other night on the same spot and got the other 2 mask without redoing the whole thing or killing any hunter, just got the mask as a loot where the hunter suppose to spawn. I suppose you don't have to kill all the hunter if you want and just kill the one with the key and straight up open the chest and get back to the spot at night if its timed trigger.

Honestly the different "challenges" to do get these was one of my favorite easter eggss in any game ever! I remember sitting on reddit for hours and hours just talking about how to unlock these when the game dropped

Fun fact : During the hunt for the Ghoul hunter, the map behind the computer has a writing beneath the circle that says "X marks the spot". This is a rather subtle reference to "Indiana Jones : The Last Crusade", with a scene during which Indiana Jones and two of his partners look for the entry to the catacombs in which a clue to Indy's quest is found, and the entry happens to be the middle of the X that is painted on the floor.

One thing you left out, which was a big thing, was for the demon mask you have to shoot the light behind you so it blinks. Otherwise it won't work.

Just came back to the game after a while, I have all 12 shown but the wall seems to still have room for two more. Is there two new ones since 2020 I’m missing or just empty space?

is the ghost mask task bugged? I go at night, activating the monitor then I see the three locations, but when I'm going to the grave and using the salute emote in front of the graves like in the video, my ui not glitching or anything and I cannot proceed
Not sure if this is outdated but targets for demon are there but no hunter spawning after shooting all 4. Doesnt look like bullet are penetrating glass in front of the targets
The Washington monument one has been bugged for me the last few months. I keep trying but never get that glitchy thing to happen. I will do all graves and nothing

I don't know if this is something they changed recently, but on the first one, the Demon Mask, I had to wait until after 19:00 hours to get the Hunter to spawn.

I dont know if anybody is following this video now or not. But basically i think the one where you have to salute and the one where you have to workout on the pool is kinda bugged. I tried giving a salute multiple times in the same position and it didn't work. Same with the jumping jacks one. I tried excercising in the same position multiple times and there was nothing. These two might be bugged now. I could be wrong though.

@@BusinessManAnt Yeah same here. I got 6/8 ivory keys. These two still don't work for me. I might try again one more time and see how it goes. But last time I did it, I tried different ways and positions and nothing seemed to trigger it.

I had to say thanks for guidance, how to obtain them. But you need to rearrange the steps and conclusions.
The Demon, Wraith, Crimson and Specter were the only masks which can be obtained on daytime while the rest only available on night time.
The Specter had gave me a hard time, had to went through 4 times because he was using rogue artillery turret.
Midas and Revenant, you'll need help from one high experienced player. While Death, Phantom, Cross and Diamond, need 2 or 3 high experienced players to help/assist. As 1 against 2/4 is impossible.
Demon, Specter, Crimson and Wraith I got by myself. Ghoul I got with a friend. Midas and Revenant I managed to do by myself.
Ghost I'm yet to do
But those 4 I've never been able to do, just because as soon as they spawn in there's alot going on. It also doesn't help that I'm a solo player
Ok so just tried to the demon mask & the hunter isn't spawning
I already have all the side missions in the game completed, I even shot the light behind me so It blinks and It hasn't spawned
trying to do this at world tier 5 since i completely forgot about it and its been a bish to deal with, the one at the west potomac has been the worst since i get attacked by two of them at the same time, luckily i just joined a clan so maybe i can get them to help me, but if not i'd love it if someone here could help.

The easiest and most efficient way it's just make your world map on normal instead of challenging or heroic. The same key will drop
still super hard on normal at level 40
@@ecoman351 is not, i just finished newyork, come back WDC, used demolition grenade launcher and melted all of them within seconds on normal, just watch the video learn where them spawn and blast it.
Well you can do spawn hunters on trial version but you will get one shoted (i want go play the base game but i dont have one so i play a lot of trial )

how did u proceed in the last hunter? (ghost mask) I I followed everything exactly like in the video but when I salute in front of the graves my ui not glitching or anything, meaning it didn't worked. so I'm stuck :/

Washington monument is so frigging bugged. Saluting doesn't do anything. Been at it this whole damn weekend. No glitchy hud or anything.
hey i hope you can answer this but what build were you running in the video at the 13 minute mark that gave you 9 armor bars thats alot of armor
I cannot answer that question specifically but look for this video in YT "contra hunter", this was specifically made for hunting the hunters.... I made something similar but I added 4 "11% protection from elites" gear mods.... then used an upgraded proficient scorpio.... currently I believe this build gave me 1.3million armor, if you want faster armor regen, find pieces that have armor regen, hazard protection, disrupt resistance and protection from elites... hope it helps.
I have tried around 10 times I cant seem to activate the telephones for the 4th hunter, does someone know if there is an update to that? I kill the randoms and sometimes they even dont spawn at night but well
Anyone trying to do the 4 hunters and getting melted - try using decoy, shock traps, and loading up with protection from elites, with a scorpio shotgun. I melted them with 2 in our group using this setup. Went with a heartbreaker build and a chill out mask (for the double PFE mod slots).
How do you even trigger the "Agent Edwards Support" Side mission?
Just an update. After last June 9 patch update, my missing ivory key just mysteriously appeared in front of case of the shield splinter case for my looting! Just "looted it" and now I have the Shield Splinter. BTW, I have all the masks but unfortunately, one of the keys was missing.

Cant get the wraith mask hunter to spawn. Have tried to salute the flag (as many forums say) but nothing happens. Have tried atleast 100 times :( Really annoying, have also tried both in hard and normal
