You CAN NOT get it any better. All three putting down GREAT work with their instruments (Go-Go stick handling-wow). And now, here we are with 7 years of watching this Gem and the great musicians she brings into her spotlight. Thank you Samantha and to the incredible players that contribute to your work.
Being a professional musician myself, I HATE it when I see people on the internet, griping and complaining about how someone sucks. If you can do it better, then let's see YOU....if not, shut your mouth!

Tim Tyler Well I am no professional guitarist, but I think we can all learn from other guitarists. I know I learn something different each time I sit in with someone, I have had my own bands and played in a lot of local bands. I am just happy to learn what I can.......play on brother enjoy!
+Tim Tyler I totally agree. I believe there are gutless jackasses that use this forum to be tough guys. In the real world they probably pee their pants the first time they are called to task.

I love Samantha in every configuration, but this my favorite, just her and GoGo Ray and Chris Alexander who is one of the greatest young bass players in the business today. Awesome jam with great solos all around.
I agree. Nice to hear her do new stuff, but that raw, dirty blues-rock, the 3 piece config, my favorite too.
I completely agree all musicians should evolve and grow and I love her current stuff, but man this early trio with Go Go and Christopher is my favourite incarnation of her band

@jack brandt Jack - one thing you need to do is to watch her progression over time. This is 2013. Watch her 2014 ,2016, 2019 and see the improvement.. Just on ability. Go Go ray is a very good drummer - up among the top drummers, and the bass player is very good.
Such a great jam. They had a lot of fun playing this. Never get tired of this song.

She has become one of my favorites here lately all thanks to Facebook. One of my favorite songs performed by one of my new faves and recorded on 3/22/13 3/22 is my birthday!

'Dream Girl' takes on life of its own on stage as she lets the music take hold and it there for the ride

I saw her from the front pew of a converted church in Homer, NY a couple years ago. about 15 ft away. she was amazing. she also sang a couple of country ballads, believe it or not. beautiful voice also.
I know time moves on and Samantha has too with horns keys and stuff but this band is just the best she’s ever had
Really like every member of this band.
Drummer is so cool and unrushed.
Bass player plays no clams and is always in the pocket and dead nuts right on time with his drummer.
And Samantha is flat out great

Dang! Ole' go go Ray grew himself 6 extra arms on that drum solo! Then that bass! So smmmooootth! And dang she tears that guitar up!!! I just discovered these awesome musicians! Where have i been!?!? I love this group! Hope to see her live!
Real diamonds in the rough, these three. One video showed up on my recommended list and I was blown away. Just floored at the talent here.
Dan 57 That happened to me to! Lol! it's ashame the drummer is no longer with the band. But she's still phenomenal. Totally dig her style myself. Started following Justin Johnson as well (another recommended by CZcams) he's fantastic as well.

She more than rocks she really is a fantastic guitarist. A well rounded portfolio of blues guitar and amazing guitar leads. She is a very good singer too. The band is extremely tight and I love them. Come to Atlanta please!

One of the best bass solos I've ever seen. Like a lot of guitarists, I find the bass awkward. This guy masters it like a champ.
I grew up with Joe Walsh as a teenage hero. So this really moves my nostalgic mind.

I saw her recently at the Zoo in Lincoln, Ne. All I can say is WOW! Tight band and Sam really rocks it! Don't pass up a chance to see her! I know I won't.

Yeah, Samantha totally makes this her own. She kills it, and I was a dorm mate with a cousin of the James gang, and they (James Gang) were hanging out at our dorm often back in the day. We recently did a cover of this at the Whisky on Sunset, it was really fun!

I already knew Samantha was awesome! This tune showcases a really fine, precise drummer, and a wonderful bass player. I love that she plays a cigar box guitar too. I have a three string fretted one, and they tend to sound really nasty/bluesy.
