I'm a line haul towboat captain on the Mississippi River and it's tributaries. I play this song every single time I leave my driveway to head to the boat for weeks sometimes months at a time with my wife patiently waiting for my return back home as she cries her lonely heart to sleep.
I buried my best friend two weeks ago. My girlfriend found a video of me and him singing this song on her phone. I will cherish it forever. RIP ARJ. I love you brother.
My son passed away last year at 39 yrs old. I have a video of him singing this as well and this song describes him perfectly! I will always cherish this video

I've had the privilege of touring Red Rocks. In fact it was almost exactly two years ago today. Unfortunately haven't seen a concert here. Regardless the venue is amazing and you can just feel the magic pouring out from it. It's still on my bucket list. @@MSUSpartanFootball

thats funny, zac brown band was my first concert when i was 9 too. i ended up falling asleep before they finished their set! wonderful memories. ive seen them a few times since then and its always incredible

Worked at Red Rocks for about 10 years. Can't believe I left before this happened. This video captures everything that is best about the most wonderful place to see music in the world. Well played ZBB. You did my home justice. I love it.
When I lived in Denver, I went to Red Rocks several times to hear different bands/singers. Great amphitheater. The acoustics at that place are stunning. I wish I could have seen this performance of ZBB!

It's worth the trip and the price of a concert ticket just to hear the Zac Brown Band play "Colder Weather" live. Hearing it live is way more powerful, what a tremendous song and one of the best ballads of all time.
I'm from Puerto Rico. There's no country music here in the Caribbean (sadly). I just recently found out about The Zac Brown Band watching a Late Night show he did with The Foo Fighters. I was instantly hooked on this man's singing voice and I said... you have to find more about this guy and his music. And Oh, boy.... I wasn't prepared for this music. This band is AMAZING!!! Their musicianship is way up there with the best. It's been just a week since I first heard this song Cold Weather and now I have gotten all their CDs in my hands and they are incredible. Totally hooked on this great band. Like I said before... there's no country music here in the islands, but thanks to this man and his band I'm discovering more and more great country music artists. But so far.... The Zac Brown Band... they are THE BEST!!!
If you ever get a change to see them Live do it!! You will not regret it. They are all true musicians, and I love how they harmonize.
Oh.... they are No.1 in my bucket list! I hope I can cath their show next summer (if they are on tour). :)

What is it about ZBB songs that just reachs down into you and grabs you by your heart and soul?? I can relate to almost every song they release. Simply amazing!!
It's a shame that this band doesn't get more exposure on a national scale. This is truly one of the great bands of our era but they get no recognition outside of the world of country music.

This band defines country music
A song about people doing the best they can with what they have. This truth has its own power and these guys ride that train every time they play. Yes, they are musicians putting on a show, but they're performing honestly, making it so much more real than just a show, and it comes through loud and clear. I love it.
The sound of that crowd. God, I miss that! It sucks to be retired from the music business. I still play though. That will never change! I had my time in the spotlight. I loved the decades I was there with ALL its ups and downs!
This band kills it. Seeing them live at Fenway was unbelievable.

This song was playing on constant repeat when my son was going through a break up the four college. It affected him and because he listened to it it affected me it speaks to so many people. We are both huge zacafans!

This song is amazing and is one of my favorites. Glad to see the Georgia boys playing and loving Colorado. Red Rocks Theatre is spectacular, when the night is just right you can see the stage, the city lights and the stars all at once. A masterpiece!!

So much love for this band, this song, and this performance. With one of our daughter’s HS graduations being held at Red Rocks (May-2019), this performance speaks to me even more.
My favorite Zac Brown song, also one of the songs that made me fall in love with country music
I moved my girlfriend to Denver for grad school. Due to some job issues, I had to turn around and drive home to Minnesota. After a very tearful goodbye, I packed up and turned home. This song came on my iPod that same night as I was pulling into Lincoln, NE (thinking about the girl I left behind me). I got chills.
Chills. Everyone in the band is emotionally invested in this.
Love the way the Harmoniesare low throughout the beginning of the song and then as the song crescendos the harmonies get higher. Such talent.
If you ever have been to Red Rocks for a concert you would never have voted this video down. I wished I had been there for Zac Brown.

Went to this show. First Red Rocks Concert. I think I peaked too early. Zac Brown Band you need to do a show here again. You sold out 3 days in a row. Much better than Coors Field.

Zac Brown Band. Once again they have done it. "You Get What You Give" has to be one the best albums released in 2010. Nothing can match the talent, song writing, and pure emotional outpouring that that album has. ZBB is a band that is making history, pay attention people, these guys are just getting bigger and bigger. Great job Zac and the guys, I remember picking up this CD in september 2010 and this song became my instant favorite.
