  • The Queen of Sheba was a real figure whose life and actions were recorded in the Hebrew Bible, the Christian Bible, and the Quran. Historians and archaeologists have been intrigued by her for years due to her appearance in all three Abrahamic religions; Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. She's even a part of the foundational narrative of Ethiopia. Ethiopian populations had families with Egyptians, Syrians, and Israeli's, so there is a possibility she could share some of that ancestry, as well. Join us on this journey to the historic tomb of Queen Sheba, a site hidden away in the dense rain forests of south-western Nigeria believed to be the burial ground of the biblical Queen of Sheba. This burial site is itself located within a large area which is surrounded by the ancient Eredo earthwork and is believed to be the wealthy Queen Sheba’s Lost Kingdom.

What do you mean. Is it because Nigeria in particular Ijebu Ode was mentioned. If it said somewere in Europe or America would you have said God knows the truth. Have you forgotten so soon that Egypt and pharaoh that pulled much weight in the bible was Africa. Africa who did this to us.

We need to investigate this matter critically...
Cause queen Sheba's children have been rulling Ethiopia as Emperors and King of kings down to the horn of Africa. Even Hail Salasi was the last dynasty of queen Sheba to rule Ethiopia. And they are all Children she birthed for King Solomon of Israel and Judah..
Infact historical evidence is still tracing the Arc of convenance to the temple of Lalibela in Ethiopia.
Lalibela also was one of Solomon's descendant that ruled Ethiopia and Sheba was the mother..

  • @hassankehinde2254
    @hassankehinde2254 Před rokem +2

This is indeed contrary to Philosophy and History; KNOWLEDGE and TRUTH. This is based on MYTHOLOGY and not FACTUAL. Balikis/Sheba was not from West Africa and her journey/route( to or from) Yemen/Middle East could not have trajected/projected via Nigeria/Ijebu Ode. What more, you presented a Kid who was not a historian/archaeologist to present FOLKTALES. What about the effects/impacts of her descendants /entourage in Ijebu Ode? What? They disappeared? Please, producers always delve in Factual History and not Myth. As people who are versed in History and Scriptures can sense all these irregularities/shortcomings/historical Fallacies Thanks.

What is it that brought the queen of Sheba to Nigeria? That is, if it is true.
Is there no history as to the reason why she came to Nigeria (Ijebu Ode)?
She was a very popular queen that her story is not hidden. I have read about her.
Honestly I am interested in her story and if I can, I would want to go to this place in yorubaland that is said to be her burial site.
But I heard that there is a point where women do not cross. What an irony! The story is about a royal woman.

@@Nkeyintv Yes, I am a woman, a Nigerian and from the Igbo tribe. Someone on this platform confirmed to me that it is true, that the queen also comes to Nigeria and traded some goods. That it happened that on one of those trips she died here. Honestly I read about it some years back but thought it is not true.
Recently I spoke to someone from that area and he promised to make enquiries for me. But God willing, I intend seeing that place.
I am interested in the story of beautiful Queen of Sheba.

Let’s see if this way in order to verify if truthfully, this piece of work is educative or misleading.
If history holds it that Queen Sheba lived at least 600yrs before Christ, then it will be that Bilikisu Sungbo should be about 2,623yrs old in Nigeria. Secondly, the name Balkis, biliki or bilikisu is an Islamic rendition of the true name.
Thirdly, Islam started around 600 yrs after Jesus.
Lastly, if she was at least 600yrs before Jesus and Islam started at about 600 a.d after the death of Jesus, where did the people of remote Nigeria gotcthe name “Bilkis, biliki or bilikisu? To add more, when did Islam got into Nigeria or where did the word “bilikisu originated from?
Frankly speaking, the name in question when screened using a timeline is faulty; it’s like a made up story.
The names used was coined from Islam and if she was actually the Queen of Sheba, her name will retain its true pronunciation and not that of Islam that sprang up around 600yrs after the common are.
