Very nice and detailed video. If one is not ok driving for 13.5 hours at one stretch, then what would be the best stay option on the way ?
Please choose between Raiganj and Forbesganj depending on your comfort level.
If you want to reach Darbhanga in two days, then Malda is mid-way.
Very informative vlog. Which is the best border to cross to Nepal if one is driving from Pune?
Please follow Google Maps till Sitamarhi. You may then crossover to Nepal across Bhittha Mor border crossing. This is if you want to go to Janakpur where we went.

I want to ask - the car is in my mother's name, and I will drive . Will it be an issue to get the car permit in the border?
That will not be an issue..you just need all the documents I mentioned and your license..and it will be fine..😊
Is it diesel car? How is the mileage?
Yes..this is diesel..if driven at 100 kmph, then it's giving 16 kmpl and in city it's 13.5 - 14. All of this is with full time AC on.

How is the overall experience?

We upgraded from Ecosport diesel. My husband test drove cars for 2.5 months in the segment of Creta to Safari and finally settled for this.
He says this has the best balance of accelerator responsiveness and engine braking. Very good stability at high speeds, very planted owing to monocoque design. Superb clutch feel for a 2.2 L diesel. And tremendously comfortable seats.
For the first time he is not complaining while driving 😄

FWD. It is a AX5 7str Diesel Manual. We felt this is the best VFM model in the XUV700 lineup.
