I have several don’t likes. 1) needs to have a back window 2) needs to have convection microwave, 3) needs to have doors that open to side (inside and out), 4) front seats should swivel, 5) all cabinets should be a farmhouse white (or have an option for that), 6) bedroom should have a slide out for the TV/drawer wall 7) needs to be a bit longer to have a full king bed in it 8) power pad would be better if it was a power tower, 9) front cab needs to have blinds, 10) needs to be solar ready

Nexus never fails to disappoint... good Lord! Fix those cargo doors... tv in overhead bunk? No back window? And those TACKY valances! Sure, some things are nice, but $200k+ for a slightly upgraded small class C? 😮 Surely they can do better! Hire a good interior designer for starters... Just being honest.

I have said several times. I don’t like all the Swirls and graphics. This one looks classy. Love the white . Not a fan of the storage doors. Why is it so difficult to have side hinged doors?! Who wants to get on their knees to get inside these things. Careful around those stairs! Tv placement sucks. Really sucks! Definitely agree that back wall needs a window. Love the international chassis and diesel.

Matt! I'm already a HUGE fan of the Nexus brand and the Triumph line! What I've been waiting for, for a very long time, is a review of the 35TSC!
I'm not a fan of the flip-up exterior storage doors, the TV location is not great, I wish the microwave would have been a combination microwave/convection oven.
I LOVE the International chassis, I love the all-steel construction, combo'd with the Azdel sidewall construction, and I love the decals-only option.

Dislikes: Terrible doors on the exterior storage, for over 200K I want a televator instead of neck pain, no convection microwave.

    Hi Guys,
I was misled by the Subject: "Cheapest" - at $211K, that isn't even close to the cheapest you guys have reviewed, but I guess you really meant in comparison to similarly equipped and apportioned homes. I was hoping for that size to see closer to $100k, but this home was very nice, and if it had an oven instead of the cabinets under the stovetop, that would have helped. And since it had an Onan 8000 generator, you would think this could have been all-electric without the need for propane. Overall, it was very nice, but at that price, we would probably want to go with something larger that also had a washer and dryer, as well as an oven.

  • @blitzsgarage6323
    @blitzsgarage6323 Před 3 lety +7

I fully agree with you guys. I love the size of this model and the layout. Being a southerner myself the white is the way to go, but Nexus should consider a mat black hood sticker to help with glare when driving. This may seem like a fad, but it really helps with the glare. Ask the overlanders. This unit has far more storage than I could ever use even for a long trip. My sanity with wife and three teenage boys would reach its maximum capacity long before the storage. With that much storage it would be nice to have an option for a pull out grill or simply mounts where we could hang one rather than the TV. We don’t watch TV when in the camper, and definitely wouldn’t watch an exterior one, but we have run across some camp sites with grills that make you consider a hepatitis shot before using. Camp layout or angle are not always conducive to utilizing the quick connect which is why we pack a small Weber charcoal grill just in case, but a simple gas grill with a place to set a couple plates would be great.
My dislikes; if I walked into the showroom today I would walk away from this unit because of the exterior doors, the lack of windows and the lack of an oven in a 200k+ RV. I also think the power outlets in the counter should be a full stack and be positioned between the sink and stove. If you put a coffee maker on the counter you will need to pull it out to fill it due to the overhead cabinets and you’ll constantly be dropping the cord into the sink. Not to mention if you use a toaster. I also think the front cap needs a larger sky light or window since the other windows are so small. Matt hit the nail on the head on the back wall. It could also use a window. The light interior is great, but it lacks light even with the windows open.
My likes; I love the couches and dinette. These are much better than the typical blocky foam veneer torture devices found in most RVs. There’s a saying that family sanity can be measured by the limit a butt can withstand. I also like the counter space, and although somewhat small, the small separation between the stove and the wall adds enough space for a frying pan or ample room to angle a spatula to dislodge a stubborn pancake or egg. I love the colors. One of the things I always hated about RVs was false wood, covered with false wood grain, colorized by some child using a Commodore 64. I also love the fact that you can access the bed when the slides are in as we usually sleep at major truck stops when driving cross country. Overall nice storage, great platform and you can;t beat that great Cummins engine.
Thanks to Matt and Andrea for all of your reviews. This is my first comment, but I’ve been watching the channel for a while and I thoroughly enjoy how personable and amicable you both have been over the years. Maybe we‘ll come visit next winter show season when prices stabilize a little. P.S. We’ve also been waiting with bated breath for your first outing in the Entegra … ;)

Suggestions, since a good many people who buy this will be towing race car or horse trailers and driving at night real driving lights would be a nice add, some small graphics on the cab to make it look more congruent and as a package, white water heater panel, large back emergency exit window and possibly a upper transom window, tinted & shaded door window, grille propane connect, folding hook on back bedroom wall for a garment bag and provisions for a weather station. Back splashes look like digital camo, Continental tires are a good choice, askew mounted oblong lights are cool, nice lockable storage. I hope they sell well.

This is a nice setup for a small class C disel. I'm glad to hear/see that the outside doors will be side open in the future.
+ the dinette and chairs look comfy
+ I really like the smooth pull drawers underneath the dinette. Well done!
    - the main room TV needs to be above the dinette with a swing down arm. Since it's not good viewing from the theatre seats at all, why bother having them. It's okay to lose window space, as there is 1 right across, on the camp side and plenty of others.
    - As far as the open space in the bedroom, they could put some overhead storage there, or mirror or picture. Maybe they left it blank so you could add your own decor. I think a corkboard map 🗺️ of the USA would be cool to put there. Then you could put a 📌 where you've been.
    - this might seem petty, but since there isn't any under bed storage, it would be nice to have it a seat where one could put shoes on, and have the bed on hydroloc assist struts so it stays up when people sit on the bench.

Looks like a good design for an entry level class super C. Nice to see a fix on the cargo doors. I think the TV location needs to be improved. Maybe the dinette could be converted to a table with chairs to make room for the TV on a lift. The rear bedroom is a little plain looking. A picture window may help. Overall, this unit is very nice for a shorter coach.

Cummins engines, although tune the main engine to 350hp and tune the Allison transmission to match. 3. Both captain chairs in the cab are electric adjustable. 4. Dual A/C for the house cooling. Maybe do at least one side window in bunk over the cab so it isn't so dark and closed in feeling. Or at least no dark wood paneling in that area.

    1) Ditch the dinette and TV placement and go with a table and chairs with a televator behind it.
    2) Option in a small washer/dryer combo. No need for a stackable unit in something that small.
    3) For the love of good food...A convection/microwave combo or an oven.

Hey Matt and Andrea, thanks for the review. I like that the cab is so roomy, the auto leveling and the large dinette with lockable storage. I'm not crazy about those valances, the cabinets are too dark for me and no air horn-come on Nexus, it's a Super C, needs that air horn. And I'm glad they already fixed the outside storage opening to the side! Keep on keepin' on!

No oven, no convection microwave??? If you’re not gonna put an oven in, convection microwave should be standard. I’d rather the convection anyway. The back wall should have had at least a decorative headboard or something. And I’m glad Nexus is fixing the way the storage doors on the outside open.

Hey there you two, I read a lot of the comments and it seems a lot of people have the same likes and dislikes. So here goes mine; I really liked the latches outside and how secure that are when you close them compared to others that look like they will jiggle open when driving. Liked the big wide cabinet with a shelf above the sink area especially when cooking, liked all the storage in every area, liked the TV placement in the bedroom and the pocket doors, loved the refrigerator/freezer.
Dislikes; no shade over the door window even if the window is frosted I want one, valances coming down the side of window, TV placement in the overhead bunk for the whole coach to watch is horrible, plus no windows. I wouldn't want to sleep up there, no holder for the sink covers which I sure hope someone will put that idea in they're rv because I know us women would be LOVING that, toilet placement I don't like right by the door and hallway and think the reason may be obvious, need shades in the cab, electric would be nice, I wish there was a slide out cutting board or counter space to use, easy to do, no place for a trash can that I noticed, and yes that bedroom needs some work, I like that the only window was up higher so my pillow and head are not up against it but I like a headboard with widows on both sides, the mattress could be thicker and plush for the price,
the blank wall needs a nice size window, loved all the drawers in there. I have had a 31 ft class C motor home yrs ago and loved it. This motor home didn't really do a lot for me. Seemed bland and forgettable. I would definitely pay for the darker paint outside.

Likes: white exterior, theatre seating (but would prefer undivided), hidden hinges, option of manual override for slides, counter space in bathroom, pocket doors. Dislikes: No solar panels/not solar ready, no oven or convection microwave oven, seats don’t swivel, would prefer King bed, TV location, wish there was an option with office instead of dinette. Thank you for your entertaining and helpful reviews!

100%. Full body paint adds so much cost upfront, and adds crazy cost if you ever need to make a repair. I'd rather spend my money on something more function than vanity.

Dislikes: the storage doors- I hate how the exterior storage doors open. I hate that the wet bay is over that exhaust pipe, good way to burn your leg. I hate the TV placement for this price they could do something different. It is a horrible position for those theater seats, one heck of a neck cramp.

Dislikes: the cargo doors swing upward instead of sideways, no Convection Microwave and NO Oven (who the hell can live without an oven?), the front seats should swivel for additional seating, the Overhead bunk is too dark otherwise, the unit is very nice.

    Negatives:
    - A big negative is the cab entry stairs. I talked to several Nexus owners and they were quoted by International $1000 to revert the fuel tank steps back to OEM which are safer and nicer. Nexus removes and replaces the OEM fuel tank steps with the painted thin sheet metal stairs with the friction strip - Our friend said with snow & ice on those stairs you WILL bust your chops, ask him how?
    - $450 for an International dealer to install the Exhaust brake - it should be installed without exception as it will extend your brake life considerably.
    - $14,000 to install liquid springs on the rear - it reportedly greatly improves the ride. Wondering Wagners say that it should be an option at the Nexus prior ordered as needed.
    - We couldn't safely get into the bedroom shower of the 32TSC, the door didn't open wide enough. I think this is a problem with the 34"x34" shower not quite visible on the 36"x36".
    Positives:
-We love the layout of the 30T and the 32TSC - My wife wants to remove the front chair on the 32tsc to give me a computer table/chair combo while she is allowed to use the dinette for her camp host money counting.
-We love the all-white look and the savings over full body paint. We remember most motorhomes of 25 years ago when we got started full-timing and MOST of them were all white like this. Our only caution is MOST RV Decals are CRAP after one year and the better companies installed Class II or Class III decals which lasted 5 - 10 years instead of the crap entry-level versions. Otherwise, we would seek replacements from aftermarket suppliers who do RV decals and full-body wraps.

I do like the white exterior paint color. However, I dislike how the storage bins raise up. It would be Much better if they opened up to the side. It makes it easier to load things.

A couple of thoughts, just 11:00 into the video:
    1. The cup holder seemed very far away from the driver.
    2. I didn't see a passenger side "workstation" from the dashboard. That is something that I would have thought to be pretty standard, but I'm new to this!
Great job Matt and Andrea! Love all of your reviews! I'm in Houston, but wife and I will seek you out when we are ready (a couple more years!).

I agree with your dislikes. The one issue I also see the gas tank fill on the passenger side with the DEF fill on the driver’s side. I hope they make it a dual fill from both sides. A pain when using truck stops. Make both accessible on the same side.

I like it!!!! Great use of space for a 30 footer. The only thing I can't stand in most of these super C's is the TV location. In this case I'd prefer the have it next to the dinette with a small window on either side of it. (Similar to what Thor use to do on the Magnitude). The one thing they really need to work on is the cab steps. Have an option the leave the original factory cab steps from International. Those black boxes look 👎....and are super slippery when wet.

Missing place for trash can, bed tv doesn't have storage behind (unless is side access), new fridge is nice look but would prefer larger, no dedicated pantry space. With 8k gen could have induction/gas 3 burner. Would replace lilypad with tower too.
Dash looked like it had slideout desk in it or could convert it (Andrea was bouncy, bouncy on seat too much, didn't check, lol), shower height looks reasonable (dome could be larger), the new wet bay seems nice.

My dislike is the steps from the cab. They look like a cheap afterthought and when it’s wet they look like they’d cause accidents rather than being there to prevent them. Hopefully I’m wrong 😟. Nexus seems to fall short on the really simple stuff, how can you overlook the convection microwave (if there’s no oven a convection microwave is a must). If there’s a tv but it’s in a bad location then provide the best solution when it comes to brackets to allow comfortable viewing.
Nexus still make a great motor home though!👍🏻😉
