In this video, I will change the black Ultimarc Goldleaf caps for transparent models in which we will put some custom logos.
We will try different ways and materials to print them.

UPDATE AUGUST 2022 : Andy from Ultimarc responded to this video that the black caps can be pushed in very hard after which they will not fall out. I will test this is my coming builds but I am confident that this is solved!
What was the verdict on this? Not sure I should cut mine or not.
Just as I was going to cut the tabs on my black caps! Now I have more food for thought! Thanks for your videos!

I used a DYMO Letra Tag with clear labels. It only gives characters but enough to scale size, bold, 3D letters. Used to indicate 'Play' & 'Coin' buttons; start & select words would require smaller fonts to fit in button window.

Nice, thank you for the tutorial! Do these baltops work on the original sanwa these sticks are immitating?
Like the idea of switching the Restrictor gate, but using the octogonal gate myself, these would not work.
I am not sure if I get the question right but, no- the servo sticks and Il ball tops only work with Ultimarc components…
@@TheDanielSpies_Arcades thanks, yeah I figured that out, they are 10mm wide. Was trying to get a compatible transparent bubble ball top, but definitely nothing in the 10mm size unless you go custom.
Thank you for all your information videos! My favorite part of this particular video is the brutal honesty and first failed attempt with... "this looks terrible, wow, it looks like shit".
Maybe try using a Cricut vinyl printer, using the same template, on adhesive Vinyl. It will even cut the circles.

Just a tip for future custom buttons... Try using a Cricut or find someone that has one. The cricut printer can print on the vinyl and also cut out the perfect circles for you. So all you have to do is peel off the individual circles and stick them on your buttons! Cricuts are the best investment!

@TheDanielSpy, I tested their method and while it does work you have to press the new button with the 4 cut legs into the center tab pretty hard. It will lock it in place and the only way to remove it is by using a small screwdriver.

You cut all 4 legs or only 2?
So what did you use to print on the vinyl? professional printer or home laser/injet to get it so dark?
No I ordered it from a specialized company (the one that prints my artwork) 😃
