Dove is great at playing a villain. I think she would be good as Rapunzel in a potential live action Tangled, mostly due to her singing voice. Liv Rooney is also pretty likable in a similar way to Rapunzel

I am obsessed with how Disney channel actors are progressively growing out of that typical Disney sort of phase. Many are starting their own career and figuring out themselves along the way and I adore it.

I have never watched liv and maddie growing up, or descendants. I never understood why many around me adored this woman (other than hearing her sing, shes wonderful) and i didnt expect her to be such a JOY to listen to. The way she expressed her feelings and perspective are so good. Def became a new fan after this 🥰

I kind of relate to this, except I didn’t really know who she was. I stopped watching Disney around 2012/early 2013, so I didn’t know Liv and Maddie or Descendants. After watching a show called No Good Nick, which featured Lauren Lindsey Donzis, I wanted to see her in Liv and Maddie (but she wasn’t in it till season 4). As fate had it, I got sick in April of this year with a bad flu and binge-watched all four seasons of Liv and Maddie. After watching Dove Cameron in Liv and Maddie, and several interviews and podcasts, I became in love with her, Descendants, and her music! I also watched her in other films and now fall in love with her more and more every day haha. I love her heart, soul, and mind. She’s like this ethereal angel for real.

Seeing how she's always reinventing herself and discovering new parts of her as a person, specially how different she is now, is enough to understand her esthetic tweaks are irrelevant. There's not a single part in this video where she's ashamed of who she was/has been in the past, so why she should be ashamed of that? People change and evolve, her past decisions don't determine who she is now.

@@lauraingram1168 well there are plenty of other artists that kept up songs even if they don't represent them anymore, people change all the time but when you release music it becomes the world's and the people's. So it's just annoying she took them away because they don't represent her without thinking about all the people who listened to them that really resignated with them.
i'm still 100% convinced that this was never her decision in the first place. i don't trust music labels in general and as many others I believe they took it down (she had previous disagreements with them as to when to release music etc.) and uf we're honest most artists don't really have power over their art and what is done with it so i'm not even sure if she had the power to just take it down but that is just suspicion

Seeing the amazing and sincere person Dove Cameron has become really makes me hopeful for future child stars. When I first saw Dove, I had reservations because the industry tends to pressure young people into personas and creative avenues that they don't enjoy. Her "image" and roles seemed to steer to stereotype blonde high school mean girl. It is beautiful to see how much more of her we are able to see. Not a facade or marketing ploy but the wonderful colors she naturally has.

Your song created the scenario that most people wish/never imagined would happen, being a boyfriend (girlfriend) to another girl. Growing up I loved the song, ' Boyfriend', by Justin Bieber, NOW I realized I sang my heart out to this song, PICTURING being him (MYSELF) with a girl.
