This video just got resurrected in the CZcams algorithm and I’m not upset about it. It’s fun to look back just three years ago and see what the prices were on these vintage cards.
The collectible side of me would just display the 7.5 Beckett and be very happy. The business side of me wood get the eight or nine from PSA to fetch a few extra dollars. I understand Beckett 10 vs PSA 10 is a big difference. However within that range with the amount that they go for I'd probably try my luck again with PSA. Just from a business perspective. Collectible perspective I'd never let it go
Very interesting, I know very little about Beckett when it comes to grading compared with PSA, all my graded cards were graded by PSA so it's cool to see how other places do it.
Leon I admire your love for Pokémon and the community. I will always watch your videos even though I got kinda tired of collecting Pokémon. It was more like a phase for me but I will continue to watch your videos just because you are such a cool dude. Sadly I got rid of my psa graded cards but was able to get a good 700 for them.

i need to go find someone to help me go through my collection to decide which of my cards i should get graded. i have a lot of 1st editions and shadow-less. plus some of the new secret rares that are worth a fair amount i need to get graded.
Hello Leonhart, I have a question. I live in germany and I thought I send some of my rare pokemon cards to beckett grading in america, do you think this is a good idea, or is it too risky, because I want the cards back safely. What do you think?
You might have an issue with customs duty and import tax when the cards get back to Europe. I suggest you use a European grading middleman. They send the cards to the states for you. Those usually have better prices and take care of all import complications.
I have two Grade 8 first edition Charizard’s. Thanks to my older brother for handing them down to me. I think I seen them selling for $3000 the last time I seen it. Also have three Grade 9 first edition shadowless Machamp and four total of those, the last one that got graded was only a 7.5. Still great to have all that money in those cards. I never plan to sell them just because my brother gave me those before heading out to Iraq and told to always keep them even if they are worth money today. I also have other cards worth money, but I still love Pokémon cards to this day just because of the money it pulls in for collectors!
Yeah buddy. U wont find everyday cards on the fleamarket it takes patience and alot of fleamarkets to go and check out. And if you dont wanna look i assume u got money and they you should just buy them from ebay.

@@jordansalsa8874 Lol what? These cards weren't that rare. It's just that kids didn't value them so keeping them kept in good condition was rare. He probably did have them because I have multiples of them and I wasn't that lucky of a kid.
PSA sucks at grading. They dont do sub grades and just throw out 10s EASILY. A PSA 10 is around a BGS 9. BGS cards are worth more as well. Thats generally the consensus not just my opinion lol
So we get rusty but no perfectly ultimate Bidoof? awesome grades on these cards man. pretty much my childhood was collecting these cards. My first ever booster pack i opened from the base set had a Holographic Alakazam. i loved that card so much. sadly i ended up trading it away several years later. :(

legit did the same thing he did, went blue version as a kid, blue was my fav color, but charmander was always my fav starter

Erik Lol what? Less than 10,000 were printed of each first edition card, so they are rare.
