    Glad we did not book this room when rooms first came out for booking. Looks very small. Glad we booked the Family Infinite Oceanview Balcony.

    Hey Danny and Taylor. Love the workmanship above the bed. Like the split for the 2 sinks. Chair with back support. That 2nd sleeping area definitely for 2 younger children or 1 teenager. Good size balcony. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Danny, in the Surfside Family Suite, is that all the storage to hang clothes in. We're taking our 14-year-old granddaughter on there in March 2025.

    A family suite without a bathtub? Not really kid friendly 😂

    • @fasd913
      @fasd913 Před 4 měsíci +4

      Good point. Given the smaller size of that sofabed this suite is best for young kids, but no tub? Someone didn't do their homework when designing this room.

      Bro I’m not happy with this..I have to walk sideways to get to the bathroom..not to mention no closet space..75% of our clothes are still on the suitcases ..a match box labelled a SKY suite ..mark my words Royal already feeling the heat ..remember there is 44 of these witch represents almost half of the sky suites ..no good business decision

    • @fasd913
      @fasd913 Před 3 měsíci

      @@mohameddadoun6236 They are labeled as Sky class, but probably should be Sea class. Do they even treat guests in these as though they are sky class? The rooms look tiny. I think RC messed up in a lot of way with regards to suite classes/rooms and venues on this ship. Actually there's a lot of compromises all around on the ship. Prices will drop to reflect it no doubt.

    Will you do a tour of suite lounge, the Grove and Coastal Kitchen?

    • @fasd913
      @fasd913 Před 4 měsíci

      I don't believe there is a dedicated suite lounge on Icon, I think they just repurpose the bar area in Coastal Kitchen.

    • @fasd913
      @fasd913 Před 3 měsíci

      @@moeboggie Actually there is NOT a suite lounge on Icon. It's nothing more than a cramped area they carved out of Coastal Kitchen space. Huge miss on this ship for suite guests. Matt H. discussed this in his blog.

    • @moeboggie
      @moeboggie Před 3 měsíci

      @@fasd913 Yeah. I noticed. I spent a good amount of time in there over the last seven days during cocktail hours. It was definitely a miss and hopefully something that’ll be corrected on Star Of The Seas.

    • @fasd913
      @fasd913 Před 3 měsíci

      @@moeboggie It was never in the deckplan design, as though they'd intentionally excluded or completely forgotten to design it in. Then when they realized it, they simply stole space from Coastal Kitchen to try and cover up their mistake. Can you do cocktail hour upstairs at the Grove outside?

    Family suite? Thats awfully tight for even 3 people. Also, the sofa being essentially the only comfortable seating area minus the chair, I dont like it being taken up by sleeping people if I get up early and dont want to interrupt my sleeping husband

    Not a nice suite ..avoid avoid ..we couldn’t even fit our clothes in the tiny closet..the kids room(nook) is a joke ..unless if your kids are 5yo or less ..royal screwed up making this a SKY class ..I’m in one as we speak.
    The poor icon SKY concierge are dealing with all the complaints..mediocre at best.
