    Always learn from these videos due to the fact forks have very slight differences in how they work
    and assembled good job Morgan👍👍

    Отличное учебное видео 👍 Примерно всё понятно. Хоть и не знаю английский. Можно перемотать всегда,если запутался в разборе вилки. Привет из России!

    I just did my fork seals on my brp. I watched this video several times to memorize the steps. Everything went very smooth and start to finish took about 2.5 hours.

    The oil in my beta forks looked worse than that after 50 hrs. Lol I have the race edition with the red tubes and bad anodizing job. Thanks to one of your other videos I got a new set of outer tube for no charge from beta. Much better now..👍

    Can you provide part # for the specialty tool you mentioned if the impact on the 14mm Allen won’t release from the cartridge? This video got me too confident, you make it look TOO EASY 🤣

    Thanks for the great video. Do you really need to take out the cartridge in order to get the fork seal out?

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  Před 2 lety +1

      You can do it without doing that but you risk damaging the tubes and you might as well really clean the valving while you are doing the job

  • @micheleandcharliemiller9093

    Thanks for so many great vids . Can you advise a good place to purchase xr650r replacement parts and that ships to Canada?

    Hey highland- figured I would ask you because you're the guru on the xr650r. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to hardwire a gps up on my 2000 xr650r and charge it from the stator. My bike doesn't have a battery. Main issue I've heard with this is a non steady source of voltage could fry the gps. I have a trail tech vapor on my bike that is charged from the stator. Could I just tap into that source and charge the gps from that?

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  Před 2 lety +1

      You have to have at least a regulator/rectifier to charge anything.

    • @xtcrider8270
      @xtcrider8270 Před 2 lety

      @@highlandcycles pretty sure my bike has one. Do I just tap into the output of the reg rec?

    • @chromezone4371
      @chromezone4371 Před 2 lety +1

      @@xtcrider8270 You can hook into the black or green wire coming out of the regulator. One is for dc indicators and the other dc for horn. I run led and my gps from this source
