🤘🏻
Spot on bro thank you I’m a fork specialist now I feel ha!
Awesome
nice....
Always learn from these videos due to the fact forks have very slight differences in how they work
and assembled good job Morgan👍👍
Thanks
Do a video on xrr wiring!!!
Отличное учебное видео 👍 Примерно всё понятно. Хоть и не знаю английский. Можно перемотать всегда,если запутался в разборе вилки. Привет из России!
Thanks for the video! One more for my 650R file !
Heck yeah
I just did my fork seals on my brp. I watched this video several times to memorize the steps. Everything went very smooth and start to finish took about 2.5 hours.
Awesome
@@highlandcycles thank you very much for making a mysterious job go smooth and easy for a first timer.
@@jason-oh6qr you bet!!
Great video. Rebuilding a 00 650r and this is saving me a trip to the shop. Thank you
Awesome
They wanted $250 and I was carrying in forks and parts!
The oil in my beta forks looked worse than that after 50 hrs. Lol I have the race edition with the red tubes and bad anodizing job. Thanks to one of your other videos I got a new set of outer tube for no charge from beta. Much better now..👍
Right on
Can you provide part # for the specialty tool you mentioned if the impact on the 14mm Allen won’t release from the cartridge? This video got me too confident, you make it look TOO EASY 🤣
I think I might have the wrong tool for that part??
What part number or tool make is that??
Thanks for the great video. Do you really need to take out the cartridge in order to get the fork seal out?
You can do it without doing that but you risk damaging the tubes and you might as well really clean the valving while you are doing the job
Thanks for so many great vids . Can you advise a good place to purchase xr650r replacement parts and that ships to Canada?
Oh man. I’m not sure. Have you tried XR’s Only?
I have looked at their site , I will check with them on a work day to see if they ship to Canada Thanks
My seals and bushings didn’t come out with the other stuff? It’s stuck inside
That’s a bummer.
Not related to the fork rebild, but I was wondering if you recall what you are running for jetting on your xr650r. Main,pilot,needle..... thanks
65 pilot, 168 main and stock needle in #2
What kind of cleaner is safe for blowing out the gunk?
Brake clean
On the XRs do you micro etch them like the other forks?
I do. I just forgot to film it. I do it when I’m at the parts washer.
Hey Morgan I got the ringer 46 47mm driver for those front fork seals and it seams to big for xr650r can u help me out on part numbers or a solution to do the job?? Thanks Erik,
Not sure man. Mine is a 46/47. But it’s not the ringer.
@@highlandcycles do u know what brand it is??
@@erikeberstein6460 I don’t
what fork oil did you use in these forks morgan?
Maxima 5wt
Hey highland- figured I would ask you because you're the guru on the xr650r. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to hardwire a gps up on my 2000 xr650r and charge it from the stator. My bike doesn't have a battery. Main issue I've heard with this is a non steady source of voltage could fry the gps. I have a trail tech vapor on my bike that is charged from the stator. Could I just tap into that source and charge the gps from that?
You have to have at least a regulator/rectifier to charge anything.
@@highlandcycles pretty sure my bike has one. Do I just tap into the output of the reg rec?
@@xtcrider8270 You can hook into the black or green wire coming out of the regulator. One is for dc indicators and the other dc for horn. I run led and my gps from this source
@@chromezone4371 thank you you are a godsend
Dem mines buddy ?? Im jonesin
Cylinder should be back soon.
Awesome your video was a big help!
