My Nephew was born at 26 weeks. They said he wouldn’t make it through the night, but by the blessings of God, he is now 38. He is strong and smart and you couldn’t tell by looking at him now that he was 12 ounces at birth. He had a lot of breathing issues when he was younger, but he grew out of it. I was in the NICU for a month. I survived a seizure after running a really high fever. Me and my mom almost died the night I was born. The day I was released from the hospital, some doctors were talking to my mom about my release, and I pulled out my own feeding tube. I was ready to go home. I had a rough entrance into the world, but I made it through. I am almost 18 years old, and I am graduating high school this year. I am healthy, and I have support and good friends.
My daughter and son-n-law went through this last year. My grandson was born at 23 weeks weighing a whopping 14.5 ounces. Doctors gave him a 50/50 chance of surviving. The strength his parents had to have is mind blowing. Dalton is now over a year old and an absolute miracle. He's almost 20 pounds now. ❤❤❤

@@Magna_Carta5excellent! I left this open on my phone. So for a long time I hated God. Cursed and rebuked Him. I grew up Roman Catholic but walked away early on. Then one night came and I desperately needed Him. I had just found my best friend after he shot himself and the ambulance was on the way. I called my wife up (after he got taken away) and asked her to pray for him. She was a devout Christian and I didn’t feel like I was enough to ask Him for help on this scale. We prayed and my friend survived and came to Christ with me. He really is with the meek and broken hearted the most. He turns the workings of the devil into blessings and praises. Jesus Christ be praised!
Im very thankful for them because when i was in the NICU for a month, one of the nurses like to watch me intensively around midnight because i have the habit of stopped breathing for a while. they keep me save and can alert others when i stopped breathing longer than usual.

I had a preemie 2 months early. It's been such a journey. Almost 11 years later, I've never seen a kid with such determination. She's an A/B student and loves sports. Im grateful every single day.
My sister had triplets, 1 little girl passed, she was in the middle, the other girl weighed 1 pound, the boy weighed a pound and a half. Wrapped in saran wrapped, their little bodies completely see through, full of needles and cords. Today my niece jennifer and nephew Kenneth are healthy and working. So special.

I can relate to this so much. As a single mom who was admitted to the hospital at 32 weeks and rushed for emergency c-section at 33weeks and having a 2lbs 14oz baby girl who stayed in NICU for over a month I feel this in my heart and bones so much. It is so hard to be a NICU mom. Both my babies were preemie NICU babes but my girl was the earliest and smallest. My prayers go up for you and your family. NICU moms have a special kind of strength.
My kid too was born at 30 weeks.he too was in NICU for almost 1 month. He was discharged at 1600gm. Next 3 months were so challenging for me and my husband coz we had no support too . Now he is 6 yrs old. 💖

It seemed everywhere I went I either ran into parents who had gone through this or "kids" who had entered the world this way and were perfect. People are put in our path when we need them most. My babies turned 23 this past April.
My granddaughter was that small when she was born at 26 1/2 weeks. She spent 10 months in the hospital and endure 5 surgeries on her stomach. She's healthy, happy and 7 years old now. She's my favorite person ever.

I can tell u as a mother and grandmother going thru this urself then seeing ur kids go thru this tears ur heart out ,u can't do anything for anyone but be there with all ur love and support. no words can express Thier pain , it's not a sceend knew, a bad dream that u can comfort away ( although u wish it was. ), Not a tear or boo boo u can kiss away. My youngest child & only daughter came 6 weeks early in 1986 , her heart was giving out they couldn't keep her heart rate on the monitor. I had an emergency c section ,and she waighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. My smallest baby. But bcuz of her heart she was sent to the nic u at 2 hours old to the same hospital her own daughter would be sent to 18 years later. My daughter's oldest was born 3 months early in 2004, waighed 1 lb. 14 oz., She was air lifted at 4 hours old. ,spent 6 weeks in the nic u in a children's hospital . she passed Dec. 2020 at that same children's hospital. It was Just 7 weeks after turned 16 , Of a Massive heart attack from a heart condition she had at birth, that No one including her heart Dr found, bcuz unless they suspect it , they don't test for it, Even now. . In 2008 my daughter's only son was still born , 15 months later my oldest son's 2 nd child was still born . And my middle son had a son born 2005, just 2 lbs .15 oz. He's now a strapping young man. I have all total 17 grandkids. When I see these stories I'm so happy for the parents , but it also brings sad memories. From a mother and grandmother's veiw I know both sides of the coin. One side is heaven the other is hell.
My daughter also was born 2 months early, she was 2 Lbs. 12oz. Dr said she was going to be slow at learning & will not grow up normal ! She is now 36 years old & smart as a whip went to college & worked in the hospital . Now she is a stay at home mom with her new born baby girl ❤❤❤❤❤ Your baby boy will do just fine !!!

My boyfriend was born at maybe 5 or 6 months. He was tiny. Fit in your hand. He spent months in the NICU. Was his parents’ first child. He fought hard and he’s gonna be 24 this year, healthy as can be. He’s got battlescars everywhere from all the surgeries they did.
I was coming to say the same thing. my girl was 3 months premature with 40% chance. she will be 15 yrs this year but damn this brought it all back and how hard and scary it is. juggling a toddler and a prem was difficult but she is hear. the truma stays though 😢
My little brother was trying to come out 3 months early and the doctors kept my mom in the hospital for a month to keep him in. He was born 2 months early and was in the nicu for 1.5 months. I wasn’t allowed to visit my little brother or mom this entire 2.5 months.
My baby girl was born at 28 weeks 2lbs 9.4oz. She was my first baby, she lived in the NICU for 57 days and thankfully she was still very healthy and only needed to gain weight to come home. We were very fortunate (blessed) whatever you would like to call it. The trauma though.. that stays with a mama forever 🫶🏽 sending love to all of you guys Also, my brother was born premature and but the hospital let us visit him when he was having good days but not when he was having bad days
I cried also. My premies are now 43 years old, basically healthy and have given me 5 grandchildren. Nice Dr's and nurses were wonderful back then. I can only imagine how much better things have gotten since then. Thank you to all who help with these tiny babies

Me and my twin were born 10 weeks too early, and the change was small that we would make it. The doctor’s said that maybe I could never walk, but now we are 12 and my sis is totally healthy. I was diagnosed with an extreme version of ADD, but I am very healthy and I can walk and run like every other person! I’m now going through life with much joy!

My oldest daughter was two and a half months premature and breech. She's great and in her thirty's now and has a daughter herself. I was a single father. I got full primary physical custody of her when I was 19 yrs old. She is single so I've been there for my oldest granddaughter teaching her everything my grandfather taught us kids. She's a crack shot too. I still have plenty to teach her still. I thought being a father was great, being a grandfather is amazing. God bless 🙏🙏.

I feel you, I refuse to go home. My Doctor was able to let me stay a couple of days. After I was discharge, I was there from sun up to sun down. All of a sudden my Doctor shows up and told me for my well being I was only allowed to visit once a day for two hours. I have to give those NICU nurses credit, they looked out for my well being. I had a C-section and because I had to drive, I wouldn't take my meds. I'm diabetic and wasn't eating right. The first month of being a first time mom was hell🙏❤️
My preemie wanted out at 29 weeks. He was 3 pounds, 7 ounces & 16 inches. If he'd made it term, he would've been 9 or 10 pounds! Saved me from an episiotomy, too. I was in the NICU twice a day- stayed all day during 9/11 because I knew night will be a hassle with the GW Bridge & tunnels closed. Lived across the Hudson from NYC. Had to pump every 3 hours; felt married to the pump! He is now my 22 year old miracle baby❤ This video reminded me of him being small enough to fit in his father's hand. Also all the little outfits 🥰

My daughter and son-n-law went through this last year. My grandson was born at 23 weeks weighing a whopping 14.5 ounces. Doctors gave him a 50/50 chance of surviving. The strength his parents had to have is mind blowing. Dalton is now over a year old and an absolute miracle. He's almost 20 pounds now. ❤❤❤

When my son died the whole room cried with me. These were people who do this everyday, 26 people in specialized teams, yet we all cried together. It turned one of the hardest moments of my life into something I can draw hope from.

@@Magna_Carta5excellent! I left this open on my phone. So for a long time I hated God. Cursed and rebuked Him. I grew up Roman Catholic but walked away early on. Then one night came and I desperately needed Him. I had just found my best friend after he shot himself and the ambulance was on the way. I called my wife up (after he got taken away) and asked her to pray for him. She was a devout Christian and I didn’t feel like I was enough to ask Him for help on this scale. We prayed and my friend survived and came to Christ with me. He really is with the meek and broken hearted the most. He turns the workings of the devil into blessings and praises. Jesus Christ be praised!
Im very thankful for them because when i was in the NICU for a month, one of the nurses like to watch me intensively around midnight because i have the habit of stopped breathing for a while. they keep me save and can alert others when i stopped breathing longer than usual.

I had a preemie 2 months early. It's been such a journey. Almost 11 years later, I've never seen a kid with such determination. She's an A/B student and loves sports. Im grateful every single day.

My sister had triplets, 1 little girl passed, she was in the middle, the other girl weighed 1 pound, the boy weighed a pound and a half. Wrapped in saran wrapped, their little bodies completely see through, full of needles and cords. Today my niece jennifer and nephew Kenneth are healthy and working. So special.
This made me cry hard...my daughter was born at 33 weeks and I was on my own terrified every day, yet grateful at the same time....I now have a beautiful 6 year old healthy girl that amazes me every day....stay strong ...we love you.
As a mom of a girl that was born at 31 weeks I can relate. I'm so sorry that you had to endure that experience on your own. Fellow preemie mom here ( my now 6 month old baby boy was born at 30 weeks💛) and reading this , and watching the video made my heart ache in ways I can't explain 😪💛. I'm literally crying so much because I relate so much. Thank you for sharing your experience, We honour you and love you. It is not an easy journey but it is so beautiful to look back at and see God's wonders💛.
I can relate to this so much. As a single mom who was admitted to the hospital at 32 weeks and rushed for emergency c-section at 33weeks and having a 2lbs 14oz baby girl who stayed in NICU for over a month I feel this in my heart and bones so much. It is so hard to be a NICU mom. Both my babies were preemie NICU babes but my girl was the earliest and smallest. My prayers go up for you and your family. NICU moms have a special kind of strength.
My kid too was born at 30 weeks.he too was in NICU for almost 1 month. He was discharged at 1600gm. Next 3 months were so challenging for me and my husband coz we had no support too . Now he is 6 yrs old. 💖

I’m the grandma of a 27 week premie! he spent 90 days in the NICU! He didn’t want to nurse, but mom kept pumping for nearly a year. He’s our family miracle!❤️ He turned 3 years old this past week and is a precious boy. So happy and loving!
Any parent who has gone through the horror of watching their sweet child go through something like this deserves a medal.
So emotional! Every mother will understand this better than anyone else. My heart goes out to this adorable little man and his parents

I had premature twins in the NICU, and messages like yours kept me sane. It seemed everywhere I went I either ran into parents who had gone through this or "kids" who had entered the world this way and were perfect.
People are put in our path when we need them most.

My granddaughter was that small when she was born at 26 1/2 weeks. She spent 10 months in the hospital and endure 5 surgeries on her stomach. She's healthy, happy and 7 years old now. She's my favorite person ever.

Yes, it is really hart to see this little thing in the hospital. I wish this baby that it becone a 2 m tall young man with musles everywhere, a beatiful face and a soft voice that all girls are wanting him on her side....
I can tell u as a mother and grandmother going thru this urself then seeing ur kids go thru this tears ur heart out ,u can't do anything for anyone but be there with all ur love and support. no words can express Thier pain , it's not a sceend knew, a bad dream that u can comfort away ( although u wish it was. ), Not a tear or boo boo u can kiss away. My youngest child & only daughter came 6 weeks early in 1986 , her heart was giving out they couldn't keep her heart rate on the monitor. I had an emergency c section ,and she waighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. My smallest baby. But bcuz of her heart she was sent to the nic u at 2 hours old to the same hospital her own daughter would be sent to 18 years later. My daughter's oldest was born 3 months early in 2004, waighed 1 lb. 14 oz., She was air lifted at 4 hours old. ,spent 6 weeks in the nic u in a children's hospital . she passed Dec. 2020 at that same children's hospital. It was Just 7 weeks after turned 16 , Of a Massive heart attack from a heart condition she had at birth, that No one including her heart Dr found, bcuz unless they suspect it , they don't test for it, Even now. . In 2008 my daughter's only son was still born , 15 months later my oldest son's 2 nd child was still born . And my middle son had a son born 2005, just 2 lbs .15 oz. He's now a strapping young man. I have all total 17 grandkids. When I see these stories I'm so happy for the parents , but it also brings sad memories. From a mother and grandmother's veiw I know both sides of the coin. One side is heaven the other is hell.

My boyfriend was born at maybe 5 or 6 months. He was tiny. Fit in your hand. He spent months in the NICU. Was his parents’ first child. He fought hard and he’s gonna be 24 this year, healthy as can be. He’s got battlescars everywhere from all the surgeries they did.

I was coming to say the same thing. my girl was 3 months premature with 40% chance. she will be 15 yrs this year but damn this brought it all back and how hard and scary it is. juggling a toddler and a prem was difficult but she is hear. the truma stays though 😢
My little brother was trying to come out 3 months early and the doctors kept my mom in the hospital for a month to keep him in. He was born 2 months early and was in the nicu for 1.5 months. I wasn’t allowed to visit my little brother or mom this entire 2.5 months.
My baby girl was born at 28 weeks 2lbs 9.4oz. She was my first baby, she lived in the NICU for 57 days and thankfully she was still very healthy and only needed to gain weight to come home. We were very fortunate (blessed) whatever you would like to call it. The trauma though.. that stays with a mama forever 🫶🏽 sending love to all of you guys
Also, my brother was born premature and but the hospital let us visit him when he was having good days but not when he was having bad days

My premies are now 43 years old, basically healthy and have given me 5 grandchildren.
Nice Dr's and nurses were wonderful back then. I can only imagine how much better things have gotten since then.

Aww this hits home. My nephews wife gave birth at 24 weeks Our little fighter has now been outside the womb for almost 6 weeks now. Every day is another prayer and blessing. Pray for Fenn.

My son was born unexpectedly premature weighting 1 lb 14 ounces at 24weeks and 3 days. He is about to be 6 years old this year. Trust in God with all of your heart. No matter what anyone tells you, only God knows the purpose he has for your tiny miracle. May God bless you and give you strength.

Me and my twin were born 10 weeks too early, and the change was small that we would make it. The doctor’s said that maybe I could never walk, but now we are 12 and my sis is totally healthy. I was diagnosed with an extreme version of ADD, but I am very healthy and I can walk and run like every other person! I’m now going through life with much joy!

My oldest daughter was two and a half months premature and breech. She's great and in her thirty's now and has a daughter herself. I was a single father. I got full primary physical custody of her when I was 19 yrs old. She is single so I've been there for my oldest granddaughter teaching her everything my grandfather taught us kids. She's a crack shot too. I still have plenty to teach her still. I thought being a father was great, being a grandfather is amazing. God bless 🙏🙏.

Same here, a full 2 months early, came home on a heart monitor and was 3 1/2 pounds. She'll be 18 yrs old next year, she was born when preemie clothes weren't really a thing so we bought baby doll clothes for her newborn pics lol

All 4 of my kids spent time in NICU, it's so hard 😢 to go home without your baby every night is beyond heartbreaking. I send love & prayers to anyone that has to go through it! ❤️
I feel you, I refuse to go home. My Doctor was able to let me stay a couple of days. After I was discharge, I was there from sun up to sun down. All of a sudden my Doctor shows up and told me for my well being I was only allowed to visit once a day for two hours. I have to give those NICU nurses credit, they looked out for my well being. I had a C-section and because I had to drive, I wouldn't take my meds. I'm diabetic and wasn't eating right. The first month of being a first time mom was hell🙏❤️
My preemie wanted out at 29 weeks. He was 3 pounds, 7 ounces & 16 inches. If he'd made it term, he would've been 9 or 10 pounds! Saved me from an episiotomy, too. I was in the NICU twice a day- stayed all day during 9/11 because I knew night will be a hassle with the GW Bridge & tunnels closed. Lived across the Hudson from NYC. Had to pump every 3 hours; felt married to the pump! He is now my 22 year old miracle baby❤
