  • The VP of Uflex USA, Bill Michel, assisted by engineer Andrea Patarini, breaks down the steps to selecting the proper neutral safety switch for Uflex control. For more information on this process please reference the instructions inside your Uflex product box or call us at 941 351 2628
Some of the main points are:
    • Determine if you have an X12 or X50 to assure proper trim range for your particular boat.
    • Make sure to wire the neutral switch to the engine harness.

How do you wire a separate trailer mode switch on a mercruiser since this control only has up and down? Is it blue wire spliced to a switch? My original throttle control had a trailer switch and this doesn't.

Purple wire should be sliced with the purple wire in a two way splice…the first way is to the neutral switch, the second to the white wire to the tilt control, The third way goes down to the pump. Why is there a third way in the two way splice?
