השיר ״דיינו״ נכתב על ידי תלמה אליגון רוז עבור להקת פיקוד הצפון ביוני 1972 ובזמנו לא יצא בהקשר לחג הפסח. השיר היה פופולרי ועד מהרה הגיע לראש מצעדי הפזמונים.
לציון 70 שנה להקמת להקת פיקוד הצפון ולרגל חג הפסח שחל היום בוצע חידוש לשיר ״דיינו״.
תלמה אליגון רוז הוסיפה שני בתים חדשים ברוח התקופה.
השיר מתאר את ההסתפקות בדברים הפשוטים;
״שתזרח נא השמש כל יום במרום יברכו אנשים זה את זה לשלום וחיוך מהלב יקבלו את פנינו ובזאת - דיינו, דיינו.
שיהיה לנו ים לעולמי עולמים
שנצא לטייל בשדות אדומים
ופרחים ביישנים יקשטו את הרנו
ובזאת דיינו, דיינו״.
שני הבתים החדשים מבטאים את הלחימה העיקשת שצה״ל מקיים ואת המאמץ להחזרת התושבים לבתיהם.

I don't speak Hebrew, but this song is beautiful
I am not Jewish and I don't speak Hebrew either, but as follower of Jesus, I have had a particular interest in the culture that Jesus came from. Passover was just a week ago, and I'm hearing "Dayenu" which is from the Passover Seder. If you want a blessing, you might look up the lyrics, it really is an exceptionally beautiful song/worship prayer of gratitude at the goodness of God. Dayenu is "it would have been enough", which follows a litany of God's goodness in the events connected to the Exodus.
