- I finally got myself the WLMOUSE Beast X Mini and it surely surprised me in many ways. The performance is top tier and surprisingly the smaller shape is very usable for me with a pincer claw grip. Amazing mouse overall.

how does the 8k poling on it work? I´ve only seen 4k advertised, do you need an aftermarket dongle for that?
No the dongle is already a highspeed device so just a firmware update is needed 👍

great video! i dont really understand in polling rates. isnt higher the better? why the 8k is giving higher response time? and the 4k gives lower response time?
Thanks! They are basically the same, since the number is an average of 1000 samples with a standard deviation of 50us. The differences fall in the margin of error. So one day it could go like 8k is higher than 1k and the other way around the next. But that being said with most of the click algorithms the higher polling rate gives lower click latency. Beast X mini is just built different.
@@jerrorrreally weird. Always thought higher means lower latency. But as you said it looks like the mini acts differently and makes the 4k poll rate give lower latency. Got a video of the regular one by anycase? The beast X
@@Cocker_Spaniel the mini has a click algo that makes all the polling rates have the same click latency. Yes it is on my channel!
Hey, thanks for the review. I'm using a Viper Mini for claw grip, would this mouse be too big for my gripping style? Should i go for the normal Beast X mouse instead?
This is actually a lot smaller than the Viper Mini. A safer choice would be the regular sized one.
you reckon I should get the beast x or Logitech sl2, consider price isn't and issue. I have a relatively smaller hands so I tend to claw grip my mouse. Currently I am using the SL1 but I wanna I'm trying to get a new mouse. For some reason I'm too afraid to change away from the Logitech ecosystem hence why I'm inclined to get a SL2 however, I've never tried using a smaller mouse which is why I'm considering this one after this detailed review.
I can’t tell what you should do, but both are great mice that I use pretty much daily. I can use the beast X mini very easily and then swap to the gpx2 right after without problems.

Yeah I might as well try some other wheels from my other mice to see if any fits properly, just for fun.

No need to switch if you enjoy your HTS :) size is also very different, the HTS being way taller in profile. That mouse is the Finalmouse Ultralight X
@@jerrorr i enjoy a lot but it has sensor spinoff problem on energon pro mousepad :( thats why i have to change. i will buy wlmouse or pulsar x2h mini.

Yes they do! Haven’t tried them myself but they are included
Hope they gonna update the regular one aswell and give it the small dongle… the mini is just too small for me
Actually they are doing that very soon! They are gonna put the mini stuff into the regular
@@jerrorr there is a new batch of beast x that has been confirmed with 3 additional limited edition color schemes. And there are new custom switches that are brand new, fixes to the battery issues, and finally 8k polling rate compatibility! Sadly the old batch of Beast X will not be 8k compatible

Mine last for at least 2 days with long gaming sessions on 1k
I’d propably say at least 18h with 1k, possibly more. Don’t wanna switch to 1k for multiple days to test lol
I am a Razer Deathadder V3 Pro user. But lately, I've noticed that it's too big for my hand. My hand is 18.5 cm. The Razer feels swollen from the top, and it also feels a little bit big from the right and in length. I bought an ergo mouse because I use palm grip, but I think I won't use ergo mouse anymore. This introduced me to Beast X Max, Sora V2, Razer Viper V3 Pro, and Logitech GPX 2. They look very powerful. Which one/ones are suitable for palm grip and the size of my hand? I have an AMD 5 5600 processor and an AMD RX 6700 XT graphic card on my computer. I have a Zowie 240hz monitor. Will use the mouse with a polling rate of 4000hz or 8000hz cause glitch or lag? Which one/ones will come 4000hz in the box as a standard? I realize I asked more than one question. Thank you in advance for your help. @jerrorr
From those I would say either the GPX2 or the Viper V3 Pro for palm grip. I haven't received my Viper yet but people have said it's a solid palm grip shape. Both have 4000Hz polling out of the box, and razer has 8000Hz. Personally I just stick with 4k polling.

@@yasinarslan208 really different shapes. If you want lightweight go for sora, if you want some premium quality and awesome shapes go with Vaxee. I love both.

The razer hit my index of my hand but I like it hit my palm and like to locked in right side curve is also feels big and because hump on the middle I can not make control it full with relaxed claw grip. Therefore, I have to make decision between from these 4 mice as sora v2, endgame xm2w, sprime pm1 and fantech helios 2 pro. Looking for shape for my hand size also quality, newest switch. gpu for 4K, sensor, weight, accuracy, stability and, etc. Which one you should advise?
how long does the battery last with 1k polling? is it like 4 times the 4k polling rate?
It’s not quite that since you don’t saturate 4k polling 100% of the time. Maybe like 3 times more?

Great review.i've got Beast X and also mini...but i didn't understand if they have 8k polling rate wireless or wired ...i did the update ...but on Beast X there's always 4k polling rate ....and on their site it's written 8k
Beast X is only 4k, mini is currently 8k

Seeing the scroll wheel, i've been worried about how nice of a mouse this would be for apex and apex movement. Do you think the scroll wheel could be a deal-breaker?
I find it to be good enough for Apex movement shenanigans. Some much better Apex players use this mouse too, like the pro Taskmast33r and Soar Kirito who has insane movement!

I am currently thinking which shape to get. I am worried the mini might be too thin for me but im not sure. I have used the ajazz aj199 without the back panel before but i think its still even thinner and the medium is its size so idk.
What is your hand size and griptstyle?
@@jerrorr its 18 x 10 and fingetip-relax claw. depends on shape like the v2 pro and ajazz aj199 i go for more fingertip while the lamzu atlantis i go for relaxed claw
@@sainder5248 i have a wider hand and I can fingertip and pincer claw the mini pretty well. You just need to stick to using the mouse even though it might feel weirdly small for the first few days.

I heard somethings. WLBeastX normal size has wireless performance issue. Is it true ? Did u test this mouse ?
Some said it had stability problems but I didn’t have those on mine. If you are looking to get the regular I suggest you wait around 1 month for their refresh. They are gonna put the same better internals on the regular as found on the mini.

@@mutlulugunturevivarmdr5319 i don’t have the regular anymore. Don’t stress the stability issues, it is good and even the GPX2 has stability problems.
the people who worked on the og beastx firmware stopped working with wlmouse and left so hence no firmware updates wich have led to alot of issues. The new one is releasing in china on the 16th so should be available internationally sooner or later.
@@OkArcc I thought they just got the firmware from evision on the OG and evision was reluctant to make any updates, like to battery performance etc. The custom firmware was supposed to come from a separate dev but there was some bad blood with the dev and wlmouse or something.
They promoted the Mini with 8K pollingrate - will it get 8K eventually?
The mini has 8k already. Update the firmware.

0:30 I cant understand very well this graphs. Can u explain ?
Basically the closer the dots are to the center and how straight the green line is the more stable the polling is. If there any weirdness like huge outliers they make kinks in the green line.

They are not. The scale is very very small if you look at the left side of the graph.

why is everyone sending the finalmouse back for repair when it has an issue that every one of their units has too? people are nerdy as hell. my ulx flexes too but i aint crying about it
Because Finalmouse said that the shell flex is an issue that’s covered by warranty and should get fixed 😂
