Agree with Logan here, Tommy fury has been fighting bums. Jake every fight has stepped it up, not even gonna lie Iâve almost backed jake to lose to most of his opponents, gotta rate the lad.
Letâs be real here, in a boxing sense, the opponents Jake has faced you canât even class as bums theyâre that bad. Woodley is his best opponent, whoâs a wrestler by trade just has a good overhand which is easy to defend in boxing. Yes heâs stepped it up, but Fury is still fighting a level above what Jake has fought. At least the people fury has fought have devoted theyâre life to boxing, not another sport like MMA and Basketball. Before you say about Woodley finishing people with punches, thatâs also due to the threat of a takedown, which thereâs no fear of that in boxing. So no, you canât say Fury has fought bums then give credit for the people who Jake has fought.
@@kobeydavidson2938 I agree with some of your points lad, but jake was just a kid on vine, Tommy has come from a boxing background his whole life. Jake is always the underdog and to beat blokes that are world champions in their other fighting professions in boxing is just impressive. If youâve watched any of the Tommy fights youâd know his opponents have poor movement, often slow and reluctant to even punch. The fury name brings an intimidation with it, but truthfully Tommy shouldnât be intimidating, he can be caught for sure.

However, Tyron being a world champion in MMA doesn't make it more impressive since it's a completely different ball game AND he got to the top as a wrestler who swung out right hands. He's also waaaaayy past his prime at the time Jake fought him and was even losing in his own profession. Jake trying to brag about beating a 5 time world champion in a different sport is like me beating Tiger Woods in a boxing match and saying I beat a world champion.
The dog in JJ came out in both Logan fights but people forget he never did that versus weller he was jabbing and moving times his shots well and was landing with the uppercut I think he had to fight like the dog for Logan because of nerves and the way Logan fought with the moving away and big height difference Logan is much bigger than Alex so just hoping we see him fight like how he did against weller but with better technique and boxing skill.

Logan is spot on at 7:08 ⊠JJ gets this rep that he swings his arms but against joe weller he didnât ever do that, to this day his performance against weller was his best technical performance. Idk what happenend since but when he fought Logan he just lost his game plan and started swinging I think itâs due to nerves, and Logan is right he always says âwatch I will be completely differentâ but he gets in the ring and the lights are on and he loses the game plan and his technical ability and just swings
Logan should be fighting at 205lbs to maybe even 215lbs, and KSI should be fighting at 185lbs.
Him and Weller were in the same weight class. It's simple jj didn't have the skill or experience to be like Mayweather and Canelo to fight fighters bigger and heavier and jump weight classes. Ksi only knew to throw windmills to over come the size difference. If JJ actually fights Wasabi he will fight completely different. Especially since Wasabi will be like 10 - 13 lbs lighter the jj.

I think itâs his fear of losing that makes him do that, or just his inability to control the adrenaline rush you get in a fight. But I have no doubt that if Alex is able to land some shots on JJ, heâll go back to the windmill.

Jake will continue using his KO power while his boxing skills catch up. Tommy has boxing ability but has not been challenged enough under the lights/pressure. I put my money on Jake Paul b/c there is a strategy to his partner's choices, whereas Tommy is in this fight for the clout and does not fit into an overall strategy.
I can see why you say that but is Jake better than the guys Tommy fury fought? Just cus Tommy made it look easy don't mean Jake will do the same. Jake shouldn't even try to trade with Tommy cus Tommy is the more technical boxer with way better footwork. Jakes best attribute is his power. But say if that overhand right doesn't hit? If you go back and watch Jake's last fight against Woodley and then watch Tommy's last fight against bokiansksi, you can clearly see that Tommy is the better boxer.
Tommy ain't going to stand there like Tyron did and not throw a punch, he will come out and use his range and jab Jake's head off. He will completely outbox Jake. But all Jake needs is one shot and he is capable of knocking Tommy out. But I think that Tommy has been around the sport for too long and is not going to put himself in that position, and even if he does get caught with a punch he will make adjustments and outscore Jake.

The only reason I suggest the second option is because of this idea, if Jake fights Anderson Silva after tommy, I think jj would have to fight a true boxer of that nature aswell before fighting Jake and realistically within a time period of a year jj would probably only be able to do 4 fights before jake within that year. And the True boxer I think jj should fight In that scenario is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr which would make jj and Jakes record this

The thing is both Jake Paul and KSI have much larger online followings than the likes of AJ, Fury, Canelo etc. so it would definitely bring in huge numbers. The issue they have at the moment is that it is not a 50/50 fight. KSI has looked fucking useless, and if Jake Paul gets through Tommy then KSI will have to a few big fights beforehand in order to promote himself in the boxing world, which I can't see happening.
