Here's to that last person who made bianca hit 600k subscribers last night/this morning 🥳🥳🥳❤️❤️❤️
Hi Bianca!! I'm a curly hair stylist from Spain and I used to work in a salon that used dry cuts to work with curly hair but they didn't have that certification and the name was just ''curly hair cut'' I recently moved to Canada for college and I found a part-time job in another salon that is certified in Deva and Ouidad cut but we don't use the deva products. For me the Deva cut is the same thing and works the same way as the cuts we have in Spain so... it's all marketing in my opinion.
THANK YOU for talking about this! Honestly I completely agree with you, it’s all about the dry cuts! I’ve been trying to explain the process to my mom who also has curly hair and you did a great job summarizing it. Immediately sent this video to her💜🍍
Congrats on your 600K!!! You deserve it! Cute hairstyles. I’m so happy old school hairstyles are making a come back. Yes please help with a good hairstylist!
Such a great and educational video! 🙌🏼 Always cut my hair dry, the shape is so important to see. Congrats on the 600k!!! 🥳🥳
OMG mommy! your hair, your skin, your bump, this video..... everything everything everything is sooooo amazing!!! I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaay! Congrats on 600K!
Yay! Congratulations on the 600k!!!
Congratulations on hitting 600,000. Love your page 🍍🍍🍍.
Oh wow! Your hair looks absolutely amazing in this video! I'm SO jealous! 🥰
Congrats on 600k. On our way to 1 million!!! Great video!!
Love you girl!!!! This is so true! Stylists work with your hair texture. I have a weird pattern on my crown, it's a process!
Congratulations on hitting 600k! I still get devacuts and my stylist does use devacurl products when i get a full cut (rather than an express cut). I clarify my hair when i get home and restyle with my own products and i figure it’s not being used often enough to cause damage.
Great, I just saw 600k🎊🎂🙌
Very nice, happy for you.. I just started my curl hair journey, and it is been a month ago that I find your channel and I am glad for it!! Thank you so much for all your advice!! Fabiana
WOOT WOOT!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I’ve been waiting for this!!!
Space buns are super cute on you!!! Congrats on 600k🎈🎊
I get rezo cuts, never found deva cuts in my country. Love my rezo cuts btw, it's a dry cut and since I don't straighten my hair it's perfect 🔥 Anddd congrats on hitting 600k let's go to 1mil 😍
Congrats on 600k! Well deserved
Congratulations on your 600K subscribers 🎉🎊🍾🥳
Thank you so much for this video! & Congrats on hitting 600k! So well deserved, I honestly feel like you should have way more so I'll definitely keep watching, saving, and sharing. If anyone is in the San Antonio/Austin area and know of any curly hairstylist please let me know! I am new here!
Congrats Bianca! I know of two great curly stylists/salons in the Phoenix metro area: Curls Gone Wild salon in Gilbert and Sunflower Curls in Phoenix. I’ve had cuts from both and highly recommend either!
Just booked my first Deva Cut at Synergy Salon in Hamilton, ON, Canada. I'm so looking forward to it!
Highly recommend The Curl Whisperer in Miami! I have been going there since 2018, and my experience there has always been amazing and worth it. I was very happy to see them be recommended by Bianca on her Instagram!
If it helps, they truly care for your curls by helping you decide what is best for your hair based on your routine (washing, styling, etc.) They also take the time to teach you how to properly care for you curls. When I was transitioning to curly hair back in 2018, my stylist taught me SO MUCH. It's a bit pricey, about $100 depending on your stylist, but in my opinion, very worth it just because they do take the time to teach you. There's nothing like getting your hair cut at a place where they specialize in curls! The entire staff is very nice and helpful, 10/10 recommend The Curl Whisperer in Miami!
Also, congrats Bianca on 600K! You deserve it, QUEEN!
I’ve been going there for the past year. I love them.
Congratulations Bianca on 600k subscribers!! 🎊🎈🎉
YAY 600,000!!!!!
On the road to a milli!!!
Very informative video!!
I love this hairstyle. So cute!!
Congratulations on 600k subscribers! You deserve it. 🎉🎉
I just saw your hairstylist section on Instagram!!!
We visit the one in Nashville. Everyone there is awesome. The starting rate with a level 1/junior hairstylist is $85 (for my daughter) I paid $130 (these rates are before tips)..I have a LOT more hair and it has different patterns everywhere.
I love you included the one in Puerto Rico! I would love to see one in the South and/or Western side of the island.
As of a “Supercuts curly hair version” YES PLEASE! We need the right people and the right investors!!! Hopefully that happens soon!
Congratulations on 600K!!!!
Thank you for a great video. It's always scary getting my haircut. Love your scary spice look. Looks great on you.
I’m still getting Deva Cuts from a stylist that works in an independent salon. Still believe in the cut but not using all their products. You, and my kinky curl friends, are suggesting other products that work best for my hair type. Just as a side note I found a new product called Wellness Deep Hydrating Hair Mask, which I loooovvvee! Have you done a review on this or any of their other products?
Agree with getting a devacut but not using the products!
I also am getting Devacuts. Just got one done last weekend and a touch-up on the pintura highlights at the Broome St location in NYC. Still using their products. I've never stopped. I can honestly say that I have not being affected by the products, thank GOD 🙏🏼 I use the original no poo and the Decadence line, which is very moisturizing. I use the super creme and the leave in for styling. For reference, I have type 3a, 3b thick hair.
Congratulations on 600k subscribers !!!🥳 New family members
Congrats on 600K and above! Cute style by the way. J. ❤️
Thank you for the shoutout on your highlights Bianca! It should be updated as I have my very own curly hair salon in Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca! It is a full service, curl focused salon in LA! Owned by me! 🎉
Hey I live in LA and have been looking for somewhere that specializes in curly hair what’s the name of your salon 💇♀️
congratulations on the milestone 🥳🥳🥳
Deva chan had locations in NY and LA. That's so sad that they closed. I'm so close to NY and never got around to treating myself to a cut at one of the New York deva chan salons. Even if people don't trust the products the technique is still solid, dry cutting curl by curl.
I live in the San Fernando Valley (SFV) and drive out to Boujee Curls in Rancho Palos Verdes. Honestly I don’t mind the drive because Philesha is soooooo freaking amazing. You don’t need to go as often you can go between 3 to 6 months depending on the health of your hair. I started to incorporate changing my hair color to give me an excuse to visit her more often. She never disappoints 💕
OMG BIANCA!!! YOUR HAIR
CONGRATULATIONS ON 600K!
I do still get deva cuts, just without the devacurl products. My stylist was super understanding and made me feel comfortable in my choice to refrain from using devacurl. Like Bianca said, it’s just a curly cut!
Congrats on hitting 600k Subscribers so well deserved!!🙌🏽👍🏾🍾🥂🍾🥂🙌🏽👍🏾
The one dry curly cut I got left my hair uneven... not in terms of length perse... but in terms of the dead ends that remained. I didn't like that I still had a reasonable amount the old ends that still needed to be removed. It's a risk, but I prefer to just "straighten" it the best I can, and tell them how much to trim off the ends. Most of the time, if you go the not-fancy places, if you tell them to cut half an inch, they just do that. There are few stylists wrapped up in their art at Supercuts.
I agree. Occasionally I straighten my hair. Sometimes I elongate my curls and mostly do twist outs.
I prefer to blow dry and lightly flat iron my hair then trim at my local hair school where students are graded by the unstructors.
This is exactly my experience and why I do not do dry curly cuts. Hair health is so important to me and my hair just doesn't do well growing those cuts out because of all the split ends that continue to get worse. I do what you do and straighten it to get it cut twice a year.
You are so right. I have struggled to find someone who would cut my hair dry. I found one stylist who did cut it dry it was better than the blow out cut. Blow out cut was way to short.
Thanks for this.
Congratulations on 600k 🥰
Hey Bianca CONGRATS ON 600K !!!! I really wanted to know if you could make a video about the As I Am brand and products!
Congratulations Curlfriend on that 600k ! I love your content & tips !
I go to a curly hair salon in Miami & request for a Deva Cut with no Deva products. I pay about $200 with tip.
Ps - I recently learned in the last couple of months that my hair needs a silicone based conditioner. I mostly have 3c extremely long & thick curly hair. It makes for detangling 100% easier and less breakage. Then I will go in with a deep conditioner that’s silicone & paraben free. I never realized how much terrible breakage I had until I went to the salon recently & she pointed out all my breakage. I couldn’t understand because I was using all these good & healthy products for years upon years ! And I realized it’s probably due to the detangling process. I must be more gentle with my hair while styling as well. Anyway, I just wanted to share that for those with lots of thick curly hair - I don’t believe it is such a terrible thing to use silicone based conditioner & then follow up with a deep conditioner sans bad chemicals like silicone. Thanks for listening ♥️
Hi where in Miami?
@@user-io4um3ux7k Hello ! In South Miami on Sunset Drive.
@@Sailorette.Plans. Thank you I'm sorry I meant to ask where is the salon in Miami.😊
@@user-io4um3ux7k I think she means the curl whisperer. I found them on google and IG
Great question. Thanks for discussing.
I've gotten a few Deva cuts and I prefer to get a wet cut with less layers as it is more thorough. I have many different curl patterns. I just know which parts to keep longer or shorter because of shrinkage. I've ended up getting a mini big chop after every deva cut because my hair ends up getting scraggly with thin ends, so it's not for me. Once I style my hair I can go back and trim any small pieces that need it.
Congratulations on hitting 600 k. You totally deserve it!! Can you please make a video of keratin treatment not to straighten the hair completely but just to relax the curls a little bit for people who struggle and take really long time styling their curls. I live my curly hair but the only style that lasts me the whole week is when I finger coil and that 2-3 hours to style!!! What is your thoughts?
Congrats to 600K thanks for video. It’s drop of the edge control 🤣🤣😳#IGFam
I have always gotten wet cuts but I found a curly cut gal and I made an appt so very excited for my first dry cut.
Congrats on 600k and love the hairstyle. And I luckily found a salon that does curly cuts and use innersense products to style your waves, curls and coils here in NJ. So glad I did I go every 6 months for a trim and dust my ends every 3 months at home.
Hi Tatiana, I’m in NJ and looking for a stylist do you mind sharing your salon? Thx!
@@lissettvega5447 Second this!
Me too!!
I love getting my hair cut wet. I have looser curls in a pretty consistent pattern, so wet cuts have always worked for me! Also I like knowing how much of the dry or dead ends are getting cut when I’m going. I don’t care how short it is as long as it’s healthy!
Congrats on 600K. I actually get my hair trimmed when it’s straight so I can be assured that all my dead ends are gone. Then I get a Deva cut. Yes it’s expensive and time consuming cause i do it within the same week but it’s only once a year. I never ask for it to be evenly cut when straight just cut the dead ends. That’s just my OCD knowing that all dead ends are gone.
Bianca rennee a new video yay.
I have cut my hair at an Aveda hair salon. I’ve been happy with my results.
We need some Philly recommendations 🫶🏽
Yayyyyy to 600k!!!!!!!
Yes I’m still getting Devacuts. Discontinued using the products once I noticed some hair loss and then Steph Mero/Curl Ninja came out with her video on the same subject. My stylist is certified in Devacuts and Rezocuts, and the Devacut works best for my hair. She discarded all of the Devacurl products from her salon. She now uses Lorraine Massey’s new line (CurlyWorld) along with a few other brands. And congrats on making 600k subscribers!
Is Curlyworld good?
brit125 It’s good stuff, just more on the expensive side. Stylist uses it on me (cleanser, conditioner, gel) when I have an appointment but I haven’t bought any for home use.
🎈🎈Congrats on 600k🍾🎈🎈
i am glad you are touching on this. I still get a deva cut and honestly i asked my stylist to stop using deva products well before the whole scandal. I noticed my scalp was reacting to it and so i shut it down.
I live in waterloo ontario and the salon i go to is curve hair studio. They have certified stylists who were trained in the deva cut and rizos cut technique. I would highly recommend this salon if you have curly hair.
I went to the same salon as I'm in Kitchener. They cut my 9 year old hair and I got 2 products and they charged $289 for a 9 year old. Was way too much in my opinion.
@@teressab6262 oh wow that is a lot. Some of their products are really expensive. So i make sure not to buy them 🤪
Congratulations 🥳🥳🥳
Congratulations! !!!
Favorite Curly Salon is Full Spiral Salon in Santa Barbara, CA. Stylist is Christin Brown. They are wonderful!!!!!
Congratulations 🥳
Love this.
I needed to hear this lol thank you
The one deva cut I've had left my hair with all sorts of dead ends (NOT the norm for my hair). Maybe her scissors were dull? I have no idea what happened. After that I started going to a new stylist because she spent time and money learning to take care of curly hair.
Social media is definitely a must but so many stylists who say they know what to do with curly hair never post pictures of their curly clients. :(
🥳 congratulations 🎊
Rezo also has a type of certification and that is how I found some good ones in Houston area.
I live in Philly and thankfully we have a lot of resources here. My last stylist who was awesome with curly hair decided to take a break she referred me to a guy who was in training with her. I’m very happy! 🙌🏾
I'm new to Philly and have been trying to find a stylist that is great with curly hair. Do you have any suggestions?
What was the name of the salon or the stylist?
@@9melissal Salon Royale Court and the curly specialist is Cyril Camomot.
Chiiiiiiiiile after getting my first and ONLY deva cut by a certified stylist got my head looking loopsided I just trim my ends (randomly) on my own when I have my curls out and then my mom trims it when I stretch my hair for braids.
I used to do a haircut with lots of layers. I recently pivoted to a razor cut shag. (It was almost like a deva cut because the stylist did it one curl at a time. And she diffused it and cut it again to shape it right.) It works so much better for me. I would love to get a "deva cut," but I just can't afford it. I can barely afford the razor cut as it is because the stylist is so experienced.
Please do a video on the Rizó cut
I’m not getting any type of special curly cut! I found an amazing stylist who cuts my hair better than anyone else !
I still get deva cuts and use the products, never had a problem with anything deva curl related.
600k YAY‼️
I get Deva Cuts and my stylist use Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic and sometimes Design Essentials Mousse! My curls come out but bomb!
I stopped using Deva Curl products years ago but continue to get the Deva cut.
Been curly/natural for going on 10 years & the only time I have ever hated my hair was when I got a curly/dry cut! It was awful. I always stretch my hair and get the same cut 3-4 X a year. 1 inch off the perimeter and 3/4 off the layers. This is if you’re growing out/maintaining length. *chefs kiss*
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾CONGRATULATIONS 🍾🎊🎉🎈
I'm always going to cut my hair in it's natural state. I'm never straightening my hair again.
My stylist used to give me a Deva Cut and she’s certified but she does other cuts such as Rezo and Cut it Kinky. Sometimes it’s cut wet.
Spiral Salon in Jackson, MI. I don’t live there but travel to get my hair cut a few times a year.
Your lipstick is a very pretty color and its nice a shiny too.
I always get my hair cut wet and my stylist always styles my hair with defusing and all so I know exactly what it looks like. For me it works best... I only had a haircut once and they didn't style it I was so sad. And one who tries to style and had no idea how to apply products or dry and I looked like a lion when I left.
So I have had a deva cut and to be honest I wasn't a huge fan. They were deva certified, buttttt I believe there experience with natural curls or a tighter curl pattern was limited. As is the case with most salons in rural PA. I am sure this is just me living under a rock but I have learned Ulta has their own curl specialists. I am going to guinea pig out myself and give it a try next Sunday. I did ask a lot of questions and I am happy I watched this video cause you had a good question to ask, How do they want my hair done when I come in? Please pray this is a success 🙌
Hi Bianca I met you a few years ago at an event at Sephora in Century City. I love the Ouidad salon in Santa Monica.Yes they do wet cuts, but I don't leave with my hair wet like you mentioned in your video. They will defuse it so you can see the final result. I had been to the Deva salon in Culver City a few times before they closed, but always felt my waves were more defined with the Ouidad cut. Maybe it's because I have type 2 hair? I've been curious to try a Rezo cut but seems any Rezo stylist in this area is booked out four months.
I also think there’s a difference between a trim and a haircut. If I’m getting a trim I do want it to be done straighten so all hair stands can get trimmed, but if I want a haircut then I do want it to be done dry how I actually wear it.
ur a genius thank God I found u!🎉
Planet Curls in Houston is my favorite place to go!
Tula organic salon in Pittsburgh PA does offer dry curly cuts it's the only place I go now!
Thankfully I have friends who cut naturally curly hair 😫 I always get cut in 2nd day dry hair or day 3 hair ! I had a nightmare where a stylist brushed my hair out and I stopped it and had to leave I gave her a $50 tip just because of her time and i felt bad but girl no . I trust you whyyyy LOL
The DevaChan salon here in NYC is still open and it’s still pretty popular . They do have really good hair stylist there that specialize in curly hair cuts .
It’s closing. The stylists have confirmed that it is closing.
@@dazedreamer15 oh yeah June 30th .
When I had full head of hair (thinned out drastically because of medicines), I did Ouidad cut. Eventually when my hair loss started to make a huge difference I would tell her just cut it for more shape and volume.
I found a salon in the Dallas area that all of the employees have curly hair and specializes in curly hair. Pricey though
Do you mind sharing the name of the salon?
How was the ouidad cut ??
Could you please share the name of the stylist/salon. I live in Dallas and have been looking for a good curly hair salon. Thank you!
Philesha is in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA now. Boujeecurls is the name of her business. I've gone twice and plan on going back in a year...i only cut my hair every year or 2. She's amazing!
I appreciate you peach!! 🥰😘😘
I still get a “Deva” cut. I just got one yesterday. I usually go every 6-7mo and this was my first cut in over 2yrs! I live in Palm Springs, and there is ABSOLUTELY NOBODY who can do my hair out here! So, I travel 1.5hr down the I-10, to Covina and go to Tonya at Strandz Salon. She used to carry Deva products, but never used them regularly on me. I was just there yesterday, and didn’t even see any Deva products on her shelves. Now she’s carrying her own product line among others. Her pricing is extremely reasonable and I’m always happy. I love her work and I’ve never left unhappy.
Thanks for the recommendation. Also in the Inland Empire, So Cal and searching for a stylist for curly hair.😊
I am fortunate enough to have a stylest that knows exactly what he is doing. He cuts my hair wet though. I just need to have a prepoo or a conditioner in my hair so he can see my curl pattern.
i got a devacut here in nyc and idk i didnt find it worth the price tag. although the girl who washed my hair deserved the praise though bc i had a really bad knot and she worked her magic even though i told her i really didnt care about cutting it off lol so i guess that part was worth the price lol. i get regular wet haircuts for $40 (vs $150 devacuts), and you should know your shrinkage. i recently did a big chop a yes it ended up shorter than anticipated but that's more bc my hair decided to have slightly tighter curls when it got shorter so yes my hair is shorter but ill take the more defined curls! and it grows out! we shouldn't be fearing short hair lol
Congratulations 🎉
Length thoughhhhhhh yassss
