One thing is sure, the Dangerous areas from Crash Bandicoot 3, are less dangerous than the ones from 1 and 2.
They aren't less dangerous :crash is more powerful because of the power ups so u can do it easily.

crash bandicoot was *AMAZING* when I had played it on the ps1 and ps2! I sure do miss it tho!
Crash taught me how to be fearless in the face of certain death and conquer my fears to succeed.
The cold hard crash death route is the reason why I have so many smashed controllers. The one box that you have to go back for at the start of the route is so frustrating.
You make it look so easy (wich is not!), so thanks for these videos!
1 have 100% completed crash bandicoot 2 and 3, but i NEVER completed all gems in crash bandicoot 1! you deserve my respect!

I kinda wished Warped spread the Gems and death routes out to other themes not just Arabic or Egypt levels. I know there are some levels that got gems that are not them themes but I think too many where in those themes.
While in races, Purra rides and plane levels it's not possible, they should have done that in a medieval level so they don't all look like pushovers.

Bonuses are bonuses not death routes. Who said you that? The death routes start with Crash Bandicoot 2 (Air Crash) and finish with Crash Bandicoot 3 (Flaming Passion). Also, Future Tense has its own death route.
I hated piston it away on crash 2 death route it literally made me break my iPad with my own hands luckily I got it fixed yesterday no cracks now😤😪

I don't like the fact that 3 coloured gems are in Arabian Levels. I wish the gem and the paths in this game where like this:
Coloured gems:
Bone Yard - Death route -Red Gem
Midnight Run - Death route - Purple Gem
Double Header - Death Route - Green Gem
Future Frenzy - Level 29 - Yellow Gem
Tomb Wader - Death Route -Blue Gem
Gem Routes (with a clear gem at end):
Gee Wiz - Red Gem Path
Dino Might! - Yellow Gem Path
High Time - Blue Gem Path
Gone Tomorrow - Purple Gem Path
Flaming Passion - Green Gem Path
Bug Lite - All
Alternative routes (clear gem):
Toad Village (no boxes)
Hang n High (level 27, gem + boxes)
Tomb Time (hard path only instead of requiring gem)
Deep Trouble (hard path same but with clear gem)
Sphynxinator (hard path, right in the beggining + boxes)
You know. I could be bothered in the past playing games like this... seeing this giving you only stress to complete the game 100% is just not worth it. I guess not my thing anymore beside the RPG games :-)

حمد الكربي second underwater level you need backtrack a lot for the gem
Level 12, Deep Trouble. Get to the end of the stage, hit the ! Box, backtrack until you see a TNT Crate. Touch it, wait until it explodes, and you'll be able to access the Red Gem (And probably the White Gem as well) at the end.
why are they called Death Routes?
@TheChoujunVirus: It's kind of obvious why, there are lots of enemies and obstacles that can kill Crash/Coco in them than the regular bonus route or the main level. Also the platform to go to them has a skull and cross bones on it, suggesting that it is dangerous to Crash/Coco but needs to be done because it has the coloured Gem in it, you also have to not die before you get to the platform as it will be missing and show as an outline if you do.

Crash N.Sane Trilogy is a great game, but if I have to choose, I prefer the original version.
Why?
TheAlexGamer Because some sounds of some characters were great. Such as the one from the lizard in Crash 2 or the sounds of the mummies in Crash 3. I know they did a good work, but I think those sound would have fit the game so well.

Crash 1, doesnt have death routes
It's a pity all they do now is spam the slide+jump+square now. :/ The game looses a bunch of difficulty with such a movement that shouldn't exist in the first place (all levels are winnable without it), and with it a bunch of fun as well~
That move combo was a glitch in the original and VV acknowledge that many players use this combo, so it was decided to use it as a legitimate move combination. You know, making it like the originals.

I played a demo of the crash 2 bonus stage at a game stop
Came here to see the colored gems & crash winning them. So disappointed.
The worst death routes are in Crash 2 (except Air Crash & Road to Ruin)
Diggin It: you have to go back in the level, with a camera yhat doesn't follow you, with that bees, to get the boxes gems
Cold Hard Crash: being the hardest level of 2, put a death route is such a stupid thing, and yoy have to back all the route if you want the gem, cause it takes you to the 3D part, and you can't do the 2D part and then go to the death route, some large falls stop you to go back up
Piston it Away: the death route ends the level once you finish it, and some jumps with enemirs make the death route the last thing you have to do, and LITERALLY THERE IS A ENEMY IN THE NIRMAL ROUTE THAT YOU DON'T KILL IF YOU WANT THE GEM, CAUSE WITHOUT IT YOU CANNOT GO BACK UP AGAIN !!!!!

@Lava&Iron Plays: The Bonus routes are the ones with the ? on them, these are the ones with the Skull and Crossbones on them, indicating Death Routes, the music is also different on the regular Bonus route.
