I read recently that with his second chart success "Bunsen Burner" (25 years after "Really Free") there was suddenly the prospect of a "Greatest Hits" album (released in 2002). He apparently responded by saying (something like): "Well at least I've finally got the "S" on the right side of "hit". If ever there was a self-mocking man....
