I have one in my cart ready to go! Just found a reactive load/direct box too for my Tweed and Marshall. This will be the perfect combo to go direct. Bluguitar rocks! Love hearing this amp. So many times I was close to ordering online. Happy it took me so long, since the Mercury came out and there’s more options for purchasing. Ill slowly make the move to acquiring one in my future.

hey thomas i played drums for a great blues player up north in the uk called paul rose, you got the goods man, im sure he is using some h and k stuff il have to tuen him on to this stuff, superb playing fella, i have an iridium myself for heavy soundgarden aic stuff love it, at the mo i use an engl cabloader but need this for an aby rig i need two at a time noah style, be great to have that on amp x yeh :)

One question: you mentioned using the fat cab for your stage sound and the blue box signal for the main PA. Are you putting the blue box to the fat cab setting as well to have full control of what the audience will get? Our do you dial in your favorite Marshall setting? @@deushocvult That depends on what speakers you have, and what the rest of your setup is - we use a mixer in the BluGuitar studio but you can also connect monitors to an audio interface, for example. What is your setup?

It arrived this morning, very nice tool, unfortunately the iridium power amp stop working, was pretty new i just bought it in may, i have had 1 hour fun, the preamp of iridium still working so i think is the transformer? I don't know can you help me? Thanks
If I got a Bluebox could I run it to two QSC K10 PA monitors directly or does it have to go to a mixing board then to monitors. I play at home so I am not familiar. I have two QSC K10 Monitors I run my fractal Axe FX into.
Hello Thomas, when using an Amp1 with the BluBox, is it better to plus the Rec Out from the Amp1 into the Line In of the BluBox or to go from Speaker Out on the Amp 1 to the Speaker Level In of the BluBox?

Klar, 250 Euro ist viel Geld, wenn man mit Alltagssummen rechnet. Allerdings ist der Preis angemessen. Die Konkurrenz liegt zum Beispiel auch nicht viel drunter, eher drüber, wobei man oft auch mehr Funktionen bekommt. Das passt schon so, wie es ist. Wenn du nicht so viel ausgeben möchtest, oder kannst, kann ich Dir das Radar von Mooer empfehlen. Es ist bei weitem nicht so zugänglich, wie die BluBox, aber mit ein bisschen Einstellen kommen da echt richtig gute Sounds für absolut jede Situation raus. Man muss sich aber wirklich mit den frickeligen Menüs beschäftigen. Ich finde die BluBox genau deshalb so toll, weil man eben nichts Einstellen muss und es deswegen auch gar nicht geht ;) Lieblingscab wählen, Höhenanteil anpassen, wenn man möchte, und los. Super !

I'm not sure what the motive of your comment was Timanator, but there has to be a classier way of giving criticism to someone. Also, I disagree with you, I thought the tone was excellent. I met Thomas at a NAMM show a few years ago and got to hear all of his gear in person. It sounds killer, and he is such a nice and knowledgeable guy. He deserves a more respectful critique! Got the same delay. A killer one, but it sounds quieter when I plug it into effects loop.
there is a drop of 1.6db in the effects loop

I’m using my favorite Marshall stack 1970 setting. The Fatcab sounds and feels very, very similar, but my sound on the PA is even bigger...;-)

It’s on my wish list. Maybe not all the new options that we’ll see in AMPX , but the essential features.

Yes, MIDI programmability is an extra layer of complexity. Maybe something for a future BluBOX…

Hi Nicky, a standard 9 v DC / 300 mA power adapter center negative is perfect with BluBOX. This is most common for pedals...
The old psa will work if it’s 300mA or more
