I am eight months older than Ron, and just quit drinking last Thanksgiving. I have drank a lot in my life, but I am 100% over it now! : ) I hope you are still sober as well!

I haven't drank since New Years. I smoked DMT a handful of times in 2020. Ever since my first experience with DMT I have been wanting to try Ayahuasca. I watched a Vice episode based on a couple that does therapy or something like that with Ayahuasca, seems to be helpful for those with mental health issues, coping with trauma, etc, as well as addictions. I like to microdose with mushrooms for stress and just to boost my mood at times. As well as just for fun. 😉 Awesome to hear about Mr. White getting involved with this and experiencing it.

I now drink so I can sleep. I no longer drink during the day or before dinner and I don't drink until around 10PM or later. It's better than the pharma solutions. I hope to wean myself further. I really respect Ron for quitting.

Im trying to stop drinking after my third dui. It’s been tough. I’ve been sober since I got out of jail on the 1st of April 2023

You have to consider an interesting theory . Each drug or substance lets your brain escape in different ways. Cigarettes you escape from stress , alcohol you escape from problems , and so on etc. but some drugs allow your brain to escape the restraints of reality so you have the ability to see things in a “divine” perspective. DMT and other strong psychedelics give you that perspective when taken in the right format. A lot of people will tell you that they learn what empathy truly is when they do mushrooms.
So yes in theory you are correct , it’s an escape. But this escape allows you to free your mind from your own self made prisons of addiction, hatred , narcissism ,and so on.

@@Darth_Tojo just take 2 grams of the correct mushrooms in natural form. Then later try 3.5 grams . 2 grams will give you a proper introduction to the way it makes your body and mind feel. 3.5 grams will do the same but also give you the proper visuals to fully appreciate the experience
