- What an adventure.
Last night, Derek and I had the honor of opening for the @northerlygales at their album launch! After the gig, the two of us decided that we wanted Taco Bell Defy since the only one so far is right here in Minnesota. I have a 2013 Nissan Leaf EV, which has few miles compared to the EV's of today's standard. We checked, and there were many places that we could charge the car as we ate to get back. This ended up being a series of looking for the charger, and then either the charger was inaccessible or out of service at the time. As a last ditch effort, there was one single charger left we could go to before the car died, and it was 12am at this point. The car is extremely low and has stopped displaying miles when we pull in, but by some miracle the charger was active! We plugged in, ate our Taco Bell (we got it at least 45 minutes ago at this point) and got the idea to play some tunes in the back seat of the pretty small car. We went live on Facebook, and had a great time! This is gonna be such a great story to share at our next gig. Unforgettable experience, and we got some pretty cool videos out of it! We made it back! We were sitting in the parking lot for like an hour and a half lol
