    No hemi cars were used on the Dukes, and none of the cars actually had the doors welded shut.

      Technically, there was 1 original Hemi car that was used on the show during Season 3 (based on VIN). But Warner Brothers had purchased that car already missing it's engine, so they slid in a 383 from the salvage yard to get it running.

    The doors were always welded shut cause the duke boys wanted to be racers on the nascar circuit

    Most of the cars used were 318 or 383 powered cars. They used a few 440 rt cars, and NO 426 Hemi cars were used.

    There were 320 chargers used in the dukes. And miniature RC models in the last season

    The doors were welded shut, because on the dukes of Hazzard, the general Lee was a racing car, and was explained on an episode of The dukes of Hazzard, look it up on CZcams, how to General Lee was born, and there is nothing wrong with that Confederate flag or the name General Lee,i would also like to mention that John Schneider explains all of this in one of his videos

    Was said 138 Chargers were used, an the rims were Rocket Racing Rims, my 1977 Cordoba had the same ones I got in 1994, it had a 410BB (bored our 10ci in 80s).

    The reason the general lee was orange be it was the only color cooter had a nuff in his garage you should rewatch the show you don’t what you missing I don’t think you ever watch it

    How do you solder a door shut? They welded them shut during the initial series of the car being built in the show, so it was already known they were welded shut!~
