As a die hard fan of the dukes I can tell you 99% of your facts are wrong
you are correct !
Right he's just making it up as he goes!
@@stoogeworthy I've been to the Cooter's in Nashville. Last week.
Agreed
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your dedication to the Dukes.
No hemi cars were used on the Dukes, and none of the cars actually had the doors welded shut.
Technically, there was 1 original Hemi car that was used on the show during Season 3 (based on VIN). But Warner Brothers had purchased that car already missing it's engine, so they slid in a 383 from the salvage yard to get it running.
The flag is part of the South. That's where NASCAR was born.I've been a fan for years of NASCAR.I just turned fifty seven monday
Does anybody agree with me
Look how many wins Richard petty got driving A mopor
@@briancarlisle4176 I do, because Georgia and Mississippi need to bring it back. Now.
That's awesome to hear! Happy belated birthday!
The doors were always welded shut cause the duke boys wanted to be racers on the nascar circuit
yeah it was a safety measure as well.
I really hate it when people don't do their research when presenting on a particular topic. Especially when it's one of the most famous cars ever made. 🤦
I will surely cover some more interesting facts if we ever come up with the next video on this topic.
Thanks for watching Cars Roar.
@@CARSROAR Correct ones next time?
Most of the cars used were 318 or 383 powered cars. They used a few 440 rt cars, and NO 426 Hemi cars were used.
It's interesting how they chose the engine types for the cars in the video.
There were 320 chargers used in the dukes. And miniature RC models in the last season
Thanks for sharing this interesting tidbit about the show!
The doors were welded shut, because on the dukes of Hazzard, the general Lee was a racing car, and was explained on an episode of The dukes of Hazzard, look it up on CZcams, how to General Lee was born, and there is nothing wrong with that Confederate flag or the name General Lee,i would also like to mention that John Schneider explains all of this in one of his videos
I appreciate you taking the time to explain the history behind the General Lee and the Confederate flag. It's important to understand the context.
I don't see anything contraversial about the General lee or it's rebel flag
It's less no matter how much we talk about the great General Lee however we will surely try to cover that and all other topics if we come up with the next part .
Was said 138 Chargers were used, an the rims were Rocket Racing Rims, my 1977 Cordoba had the same ones I got in 1994, it had a 410BB (bored our 10ci in 80s).
Thank you for sharing your personal connection to the movie cars!
The reason the general lee was orange be it was the only color cooter had a nuff in his garage you should rewatch the show you don’t what you missing I don’t think you ever watch it
I appreciate the insight into the color choice of the General Lee. It adds another layer of appreciation for the show.
They welded the door shut in the tv show for racing it was in first episode did you watch the show 😂
Well we are totally aware and had to leave our comment box open to listen about such interesting facts from our viewers .
Thanks for watching Cars Roar.
375 generals wreck
On the show they were well did shut because it was a race car
I used to watch the show and tbh it still trends .
How do you solder a door shut? They welded them shut during the initial series of the car being built in the show, so it was already known they were welded shut!~
Thanks for your comment! It's interesting to see the differences in how doors were sealed in the show.
It was a stock car that's why the doors were welded shut
I appreciate you noticing that detail!
Interesting
Thanks for watching Cars Roar .
Can you say HEMI.....Doooonald TRUMP.........
HEMI....Doooonald TRUMP....sounds like a catchy tune!
Duke Brothers 🤦♂️
The general lee's doors were welded shut because it was a race car
At last they were safe.
