    I've owned one of these for years. Bought it on a great sale. No regrets. Fun to shoot. The whole family shoots it. Slim and small for CC.

    I agree. My P9 is so smooth. Kahrs need a break in period of 300-400 rds to get butter smooth.

    Spot on review for this piece - especially needing to get used to trigger

      A buddy was asking how the trigger is yesterday, it's good but different. Well built gun. Thanks for the view, UGD

    My semiautomatic CCW is a Kahr I absolutely love them. It’s also my training gun

    Add the color of your choice to the rear sight pies on either side left and right because then it will really Center your two dots a lot better at least for me but I think really it's better than having just the blacked-out rear sight pie 's left and right with white dots vertically.

    I have the Kahr CT-9. I would prefer the slightly shorter grip of the CW-9, but like having a 4" barrel, so it shoots like a full-size service pistol. The CW-9 shoots like a compact service pistol -- much better than comparably sized competitors' guns that have only a 3" barrel.

    I’m new to understanding Kahrs. Can anyone explain how a striker gun can be double action? If it’s double action, why does the slide need to cycle in order to make the trigger reset?

    • @stephenkaczynski2307
      @stephenkaczynski2307 Před 5 lety

      I believe it is not a pure DAO; when a round is chambered the striker is in partially cocked position though not as cocked as most striker pistols. The trigger pull completes the cock and moves the firing pin block. No restrike ability. All Kahr pistols have a similar action.

    • @fsilber330
      @fsilber330 Před 3 lety

      Not TDA. It is DAO with partially pre-set striker. You could say that about most striker-fired guns these days, but the Kahr's smooth trigger FEELS more like the tuned double-action trigger of a competition-only revolver -- but shorter and lighter.

    I’ve had two Kahrs, never a failure. Great value. But I did not like Kahrs manuel of arms which require you to chamber the first round with the slide release. You cannot carry it unloaded. I’ll stick with my g26/g27.

      I did not notice that, I used the slide release, HMMMM. Looking at a Glock 27, WRONG CALIBER, today. Gen4 we'll see. Thanks again, UGD

      There is a youtube video about that: czcams.com/video/qlETN_3PkbU/video.html
      He says that the problem is solved by using an aftermarket magazine follower made by Lakeline LLC. I have not tried it yet, but plan to do so.
