Amir is by far my favorite matter of fact reviewer. Highly informative, helped me make sense of some measurements. I think he has a video on listening volume where he makes a strong case for 94, 104 and 114db measurements.

But it is true, I tend to try explaining things from other's perspectives a lot in comments, in hopes people at least understand where they're coming from. I guess that could be kind of damage control 😅

1:45 i dont think your listening abilities is necessarily bad if you dont listen higher frequencies, you can still kind of enjoy a headphone but i guess to recommend to other people that are more sensitive to higher frequencies is where the issue comes from.
Dan really does the best job he can, he tries hard to explain what the sets actually sound like, and everyone needs to make a living...I like SA.. Funny guy..

Your view on RealAudioReviews sound very similar to Z Reviews. Sure, lots and lots of affiliate links but dang is he entertaining to watch and he's entertaining in his takes on iems and headphones. He definitely likes what he likes.

Amir needs to test at like 77, 82, and 88, his distortion measurements are nearly useless since no sane healthy human listens at the levels he measures at. Idc how much a headphone distorts if at that volume ill be deaf in an hour or so anyway
No, the distortion measurements are fine, but his justification of them was not very good. Peak SPL can easily exceed 100 dB for 83 dBA listening.
@@Sharur1 peak should be the baseline, and whatever the "non peak" volume is should just be whatever. I seal my cups with cardboard with a hole and measure until the peak hits whatever I want to be my max, then listen

I am only subscribed to the Scientific Audiophile from the list you have mentioned. Others on the list are nothing and not worth the sub compared to that chad channel.
Though I was subbed to HBB at first since his channel somehow got me into audio, I got tired of him shilling his collab IEMs, plus he said in one of his videos that Harman Target is inaccurate and shouldn't be followed, lol, unsubscribed, very subjective, humor is also nothing compared to Sharur and the Scientific Audiophile.

Sorry to say that, but in respect to Amir from ASR, your are just an audio dwarf. Not talking only about audio and electronic knowledge in general or his measurements, but also his listening abilities. He could discern Hi-Res, from Redbook CD in a blind listening test, something that you most probably cannot do, despite of his older age. And your point that one should not listen above 83dB, because that is the level the music was mixed or master at, is just utterly ridiculous. You can listen to any level you like.
He showed listening tests from years ago and he admit that the only way he passed that test was by finding a super quiet part of the song and turning the volume to the sky to hear noise floor differences. I could pass the same test with ease as I have many other tests. Cope noob.
