Paint will absolutely go a long way for that implement. I know at the low temps seen up there sticking snow may not be much of a problem, but paint will help it slide through the thrower and chute easier.
That is an excellent point! I bought a case of something like twenty flap discs for my angle grinder. My plan is to paint it roughly the same red as my tractor, with some black accents. The chute, impeller, and auger would look good in gloss black I think.
The arms on the tractor aren't wide enough to accept this implement with the pins pointed outward. It's one of the reasons I suspect this is really geared towards a larger machine.

Why not flip the lower pins out? Makes it a lot easier to attach implements.
