- In this episode of Hunting Mark, host Cameron Porter is joined by Stuart Wallin, the owner of Get Some Guns and Ammo, who talks us through the basic different types of firearms available on the market. After the discussion, Stuart takes us back to their state-of-the-art indoor shooting range and gives Nathan a chance to fire some of the different guns.

I love the moment he looks at the camera after he talks about gun safety.
"Do you hear me antigun people: no accidents; true story."
Yep. No accidents. Mass shootings are usually intentional.
This is sooo cool. I haven't even seen a gun in real life because I live in Sydney Australia and no one I know owns guns here unless it's in a museum. I've always wanted to own and fire a gun though.
yeah same i live in gero western australia and ive never seen a real gun irl
No one hunts or owns cattle they need to protect?
@@tyrozinehappykitchen they do but I don't live close enough to any farmer to have seen a gun. I live around Sydney city and sometimes even the police don't have guns.
@@jlinus7251 I'm very glad your police don't have guns. Don't let them have guns. I feel safer next to a normal person with a gun than a police officer here because police can shoot whoever they want and they won't go to jail and they have like this power rambo complex. Having been around them a lot while protesting It's scary tbh ahah
@@tyrozinehappykitchen Dude most cops never want to shoot someone and many times will most likely never need to.Cops are crazy.
"fully semi automatic" let that sink in.
LOL
Fully half
AHAHAHAHA
Democrats be like
@@hunterpaulson8225 I pray for you guys, stock up.
Damn those gun sounds were so fricking good. With earphones on, the last one (which fired like a machine gun) sounded like it was shooting small explosives lmao so powerful
8:29 RIP my ears, caution to earphone users.
Ouch ouch ouch
Tooo laaatteeeee nooooooo g h dhffggfffccc
The sounds ends at 8:45
It's the "oh boy" after firing the MP5 for me! lmao. Great Video.
I appreciate you all for making this video. I don’t know crap and i didn’t know where to start and at least now i know what I’m dealing with potentially 😭😂 i grew up in California. The Bay Area at that - we don’t really know much bout guns. So i appreciate this
Haha I lived all over cali and now in the bay area there's alot of gun stores or and ranges all over the whole state it's just who chooses to venture out I'm that world of guns as for the streets well you live in the bay area you should know already they know everything about guns that's all I'm gonna say
@@mikevick5399 broski im trying to find a single goddamn shop that isn't going out of business. turns out I gotta drive from SF to San Carlos for a gun bruhhhhh
SAW stands for Squad Automatic Weapon.... This guy is clearly part of the "I was gonna join the Army but..." club. Good video though.
the camera shake when he shot the SAW was EPIC, got chills!
If you are wearing headphones take them off or else rip
Firing sound is awesome ❤️
Why does the background look green screen?
Likely how the lighting is set up.
Thank you. It's good to be educated informed well and responsible
3:40 I thought my phone was about to ring. Very informative video by the way. Thank you.
I'm just here to learn about guns and how to identify them
Is like a good introduction to guns. That's a nice video, give us a glimpse of our 1st experience firing a weapon
Nice...need more videos like these...
This is the best.very simple and effective.Thanks.
Thanks for the video;)
I ended up here...because i play shooting games alot... Can't wait to carry some of those in the future.
Love here
Can you please explain what is the role of barrel "length" in shooting... Often in movies, barrel of the shotgun is saw off and made short...
The "main" roles with barrel length is accuracy, and velocity. Speaking basically, in general the longer the barrel, the more accurate a firearm will be. This is because, the projectile has a longer amount of time spent within the enclosed barrel, being pushed faster, and harder forward by the gases produced by the gunpowder that was burnt when firing the round, therefore also building velocity. The faster the bullet can go, the more stable it can become, and it will have a harder force pushing the projectile forward, battling the downward pull of gravity, causing the bullet to drop towards the earth at a "slower" rate. The downside of a longer, more accurate barrel is they are long. Therefore, they are more cumbersome, and slow to maneuver in a tight, or confined area. So it's not 100% hollywood to have a shorter barrel on a firearm, however there are some major tradeoffs. One that I need to point out, is that normally speaking, sawing a barrel off a shotgun is illegal, unless it is classified as an nfa item. A shotgun barrel under 18 inches is "normally" considered a short barrel shotgun, or possibly it could fit into the aow category. There is some exceptions to this rule, but to save you from a confusing atf fiasco, I'll just say never cut a shotgun barrel under 18in in length, without expecting problems with the law. Other real world tradeoffs would include, longer barrel= further range, higher accuracy, faster moving projectile but lower maneuverability, and slower close range sight picture. Shorter barrel= higher maneuverability, higher concealability, and fast close range target acquisition, but at the cost of accuracy and ballistics. I hope that was helpful, as it's just a very quick "crash course" of the role of barrel length.
@@neblobian01 so cutting short barrel in movies make sense to handle it easily and quickly in all directions... plus when bad guys are attacking our hero in movies, they are in short range and does not need much velocity or accuracy...
Thanks for the detailed reply... it was really helpful...
Awesome video!
Plus you're not going to believe it but there's little video that breaks it down to beginner level. Most videos starts going expert, and throwing numbers and functionality immediately
Why did I watch this well on a speaker
7:17
11:13 "oh boy"
I need a 22 I have teeny hands but I want a 45. Cuz a 22 probably won't do me any good in a life or death situation..
Get yourself a 9 mm
u would be surprised how useful a .22 can be
as a beginner you’ll be able to hit your target more accurately and most fun fights happen in a close quarters situation
The best gun was the automatic guns
Hello Cameron Porter, you are doing great.💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
I think you've got to explain the different between the ammo they fire, the velocities, range, calibre etc
Why is the primary infantry weapon a rifle not a pistol?
Rifles typically have longer range, faster velocity, smaller calibre?
And the opposite for pistols?
Hypothetically, if I was to fit a long barrel to a pistol, technically I get a rifle, but not a very good one, correct?
That's what I'm talking about
Awesome video. I’m new to this ☺️🙌🏾
Okay I'm not super educated on the subject but "Assalt Rifle" is a made up term its ARMALITE RIFLE not Assault Rifle. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
In the case of AR-15, it does stand for Armalite. Assault rifle is a legitimate term though - it is an automatic rifle that fires "intermediate" sized rifle rounds (as opposed to the "full" sized rifle rounds fired by a battle rifle). The messy term is assault weapon, which just means whatever politicians and activists need it to mean.
Bendiciones Soley City Yuta
I just wanna know the difference between a carbine and assault rifle, I hear everyone on the news saying every gun is an assault rifle and for sure I know that’s incorrect
Carbine is the length of the rifle. THERES NO SUCH THING AS A FUCKING ASSAULT RIFLE
Carbine does indicate a general barrel length, assault rifle indicates a rifle capable of fully automatic fire, and takes rifle rounds of "intermediate" size (as opposed to battle rifles that fire "full" size rifle rounds). The inaccurate term is assault weapon, which just means whatever politicians or activists want it to mean.
@@zoukatron thank you
awesome good for my game project
I'm learning about guns incase I was reborn as an soldier HAHAHAH
should of went with the 4 universal gun safety laws instead
Here after a few episodes of walking dead and I might need this 😂. Guns are not allowed in my country I would go to prison for a very long time. Very informative video nonetheless!
Guns being completely illegal is pretty rare! Hope you have something Else in case of a zombie Apocalypse 😉
Why didn’t he say the fourth rule? Lol
We have the same name
He just took 20 sec to say ppl can use both for the same
“Bang up” business
Great!
Hunning ?
Naydine Swainn Utahns have an accent where they don't pronounce their Ts, including me
How did I end up here 😯
the way he held that revolver somehow pisses me off, even though that's probably the best way to hold it
You tried. XD I'll stick to video games.
not to brag, but i have black ice on the MP5
If feel like I'm being shot through the video ouch
HOLY SHIT, is it just me or does the gun expert look a little like Tom Segura?
bro........is that a Green Screen ?

Years of practice and a 6 year old shoots a teacher... Wow
Nis
Make a video on every bullet till 20mm with its gun shown with it
Kindly, becaz a of idiots still needs more elaborate explanation
“A shotgun is defined by the type of ammo it shoots” couldn’t be further from the truth. 30 seconds in and they are already spreading bs. You can have a fire arm that shoots shotgun shells but isn’t a shotgun/rifle/pistol. Came here for more reliable info but these guys obviously only know wrong”common” knowledge of fire arms. An AR could be considered a pistol ffs lmao.
ear rape
The host is so so boring 😆
