Honestly, he and the others were incredible to talk to. The love for the sport and their competitive spirit was astounding! We're proud to be making their toys!
I love and enjoy everything Ray has done and continues to do for the sport and entertainment side of this community. It's really nice seeing these engineers and awesome problem solvers hoisted the way they are (and I am definitely going to find a way to convince the missus to get me the entire set!)

Oh Hexbug, got a idea. Remember a couple of season ago when Scorpious and Icewave fought each other, they did again in the Bounty Hunters series, so I think an Icewave and Scorpious rival pack would be amazing.
Icewave Peices: Two panels on the head and the little wedge on the front
Scorpious: The two claws (pinchers?) in the front and the panel in the back that has the bot name.

If you were to make bots that wouldn't fit in a Rivals pack, they can be called "Deluxe" bots, like HUGE, which would be a larger bot, and can have removable wheels. Shatter can have a special controller that allows sideways movement from the omni wheels. Chomp would need its own special controller that allows sideways movement, and turret rotation. HUGE, Shatter, and Chomp can be Deluxe bots, instead of Rivals.
For Rivals, what could we get for this year? We'll have to find out at the Toy Fair. Some great choices include Hydra, Lock-Jaw, SawBlaze, Whiplash, End Game, Icewave, Gruff (with lights for flamethrowers), and Rusty (with moving tracks). Of these, what two would be the best?
Hope to see another Build-Your-Own bot kit, and VEX Robotics kits this year.

@@hexbug Last year, Duck and Rotator were the only BattleBots toys. COVID must have made things very slow last year.
Regarding the Build-Your-Own bot kits, we currently have three different bases; two of which are 2WD, and one being a tracked robot. It would be nice if you could make a four-wheel-drive, fast tracks, shuffler (with walking plates that act like wheels), or a walker chassis. Weapon types can include an undercutter, crusher, grappler, or a vertical flywheel. We could use more variety in bot customization.
The walker chassis could walk similar to the Scarab and Scorpion, with armor around the legs for protection.

I think I got these toys about the year of their release, I ended up getting Minotaur, Beta, Tombstone, and Witch Doctor. I had so much fun battling them that I immediately wondered if there were going to be more.
Now that I’ve grown up a little, I realized that money doesn’t grow on trees, and I couldn’t just buy all of them because I want to. And yet I still have to really restrain myself from buying at least one more, for old times sake.
God, that Bronco one looks so cool. How powerful is the flipper? I hope it at least kind of scales down in power

In my experience with these Battlebots toys they unfortunately lack quality control. I’ve bought the Rivals 4.0 the 5.0 and rivals minataur and beta. They all had issues straight out the box but biteforce and blacksmith are the only ones I could get to work. Extremely unfortunate but when they work they are loads of fun. Hopefully any new releases will have some kind of quality control

Also, why no love for the Robot Wars line? I ended up buying £2000 worth of US Hexbug Battlebots, over 5 years that the line has been out, yet we only got three (two modular bots and Matilda) in the UK.
