I love how the Salamancas are complete sociopaths, but when something happens to them, they freak out, the way he says, "in my house! MY HOUSE!" As if he's never murdered someone in their home
Pretty sure Lalo considered his house untouchable, since he was always so protected and it was a safe house, so it was unfathomable that it would happen.
All narcissists and sociopaths have the double standard. I can do it to you but don't you think about doing the same thing to me. Or they'll do something to you and say you did it to them. I would think avoiding the Salamanca's is a healthy decision.

Doesn't he ONLY communicate with Hector in Spanish tho?
@@WeBarelySober He means that, when he first called the nursing home, he was talking in Spanish asking if he had reached the receptionist. When the person responding replied in English and said she would give the phone to someone who understood Spanish, he switched to English and just said for her to give the phone to Hector. In doing this, he now knew the person who answered - probably - would not understand over the speaker phone just what he was saying to Hector, making it easy for him to say everything he needed to say.
@@alexanderroberts5223 the phone wasn't on speaker
@@borris3768 I may not have realized that, but I'm also not sure it matters. Lalo has no way of knowing one way or the other and so he needs to assume it is on speaker phone and choose his words accordingly.

True, though it was probably to alleviate Bolsa from his concerns, who bought it hook line and sinker, but Gus realized he was all on his own.
All Salamancas are hot headed killers but they always are incredibly patient when it comes to communicating with their Tio. Simple element gives so much depth to what the family really is like.

Then Hector proceeds to fuck up Lalo's plan by looking at and shaking hands with Gus letting Gus know Lalo's alive which will probably get him killed.

This scene makes me believe Lalo is less evil than twins. He gave money to all these people instead of killing them
He's like the most sociable and presentable looking when it comes to the Salamancas. Tuco looks and acts like a thug while the twins are too silent and imposing.

Maybe my favorite scene from the entire show. Obviously the plot-significance here is kind of minor, but the way they used cinematography and music to make just spelling out a word prepare the viewer for Lalo's role in this season is brilliant. It's a real-time conversation but it feels like a montage of intense scheming, because that's exactly how Lalo challenges gus and what gus is going to overcome. The Salamanca’s NETFLIX 2025
Imagine?
Someone noticed how in the part right before this clip, when lalo calls the nursing home, he initially speaks in Spanish and the nurse doesn’t understand him so he switches to English. This was lalo just making sure the nurse wouldn’t be able to understand anything that was said.
Love when LALO opens up in Spanish to make sure the operator doesn’t understand the conversation
A MI CASA, TIO
Love that lines
Crazy how fast lalo switches to that psychotic expression when he delivers that "be nice".
Idk why I liked Lalo and wanted him to succeed just a little
Because Gus was a POS. Needed bringing down a peg.
Am I the only one who was glad Hector got the last laugh over Gus
Not me. I didn't want Gus to die at all, he was a badass. But oh well... Story required it so that arrogant bald loser could become "the man" and ruin everything for everyone.
Also who do you cheer for, the coyote human smuggles or the drug trafficker?
No you’re not. It was oddly satisfying to me as well. By the end of Breaking Bad, Gus had become so hateful, I was glad to see him go. He’s portrayed as a little more likable in BCS at least so I root for him over the rest of the scumbags.

I watched the scene where Hector had a big ego and cleaned poo off his shoes onto Gus's desk so I couldn't root for Hector lol, they're both evil though so 🤷🏽♂️
Lalo takes their truck too lol
Another prequel please. Gus in Chile and Mexico and Hector and the Cartel starting out in Mexico, and the Salamancas growing up in the business.
