What do you work as?
After doing my Textiles degree I did my PGCE teacher training at Goldsmiths, University of London to become an Art and Design Secondary School Teacher. Currently, I work in a hospital teaching art part-time to mainly 16 -18 year olds. In addition, I teach art in my studio on Saturdays and I give textile workshops to schools. I set up this channel in April 2020 after being furloughed during lockdown but soon realised I really enjoyed designing, creating projects, filming and editing my videos....so if you'd like to support me please subscribe! I just discovered your channel, I'm loving it, thank you so much for sharing. Regarding this technique, which fabrics will not fray without finishing on the sides?

Brilliant🥰 may I ask how you found me? Felt wouldn't fray but for most fabrics you can put a seam on the sides and that would help. If you don't mind the effect of pinking shears then use them too...I do all the time.
