Royal Enfield - The Last Masters - Episode 1- "Diewald's Diesels"

In this series we are looking into the lives of Royal Enfield mechanical wizards and legends, before they fade away and disappear into the darkness of modernity, without the recognition they deserve.
Episode 1 is a documentary of one of Germanys great motorcycle mechanics, Mr. Wolfgang Diewald, and his work with the elusive Royal Enfield diesel motors. This is my personal recount on how I first met Mr. Diewald in 2012 in the Black Forest in Germany, and how he is doing today, twelve years on.
Thankfully in 2012, I had taken some photos of his work whilst he was working on an amazing 800cc diesel engine amongst other classic 500 Enfields. And so I went back to show them to him, to elaborate and explain his fascinating creations.
At the time of filming, Mr. Diewald was struggling with his health (2024) and therefore I urge all of you to send him your prayers for a speedy recover, so he can keep doing what he loves for the next 20 years... at least.

Why didn’t you put English subtitles in we don’t speak German so we don’t know what the old man said

Of course we put English subtitles.. put the cc on and check the settings...the little cog wheel in the CZcams window..set it to English and all the translation is there .. hope this helps
