What people don't realize is that this version of _Maury_ was and is somewhat of a reboot of the previous incarnation of the series-- as he was cancelled by Paramount in the spring of 1998 due to declining ratings after his audience left for _Springer._ Povich shopped his show around to other syndicators-- with Studios USA (now NBCUniversal) assuming the distribution of the show-- ironically the *same* syndicator that _The Jerry Springer Show_ had.
This takes me back to when I was a little kid. My mom and I would watch Montel, Jenny Jones, Maury, Ricki Lake, Sally, and Jerry Springer. The good ol' talk shows of the 90's and 00's
I enjoy as a kid, YES AS A KID that I grew up watching both Jerry Springer and Maury hands down the greatest talk shows and I’m happy to see these shows in the 90s 00s era 😌🙏🏽

he changed it because there is more money in the whole "YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER" and issues like that. people dont want to see happy posstive things anymore. It be boring. they want to see crazy shit now these days and maury had no choice. Money is tight now. And it makes more viewer sky rocket.
