The red dress look nice on her. Red makes a statement. Confidence, bold, courage and resilient. Her home is unique. A home with one's authentic personality makes it a home. She's a unique person. What really matters to me is the stories she shared. I saw a glow upon her face. A sense of joy. And pride.

To me, her accent sounds about 75% American (based upon the US region where she's from)...but I definitely hear sprinkles of certain pronunciation that has British influence.

Great home, not a cookie-cutter trendy bit like you see EVERYWHERE.....Love her outlook on her home and you can see she took her time making the home look lived in and fun. Wonderful job.
I know I cannot stand the Chinese-driven 'gray' walls, gray baby girls' strollers, gray baby girl and boy clothing, gray rugs I mean, it is ridculous- I hope people see the Chinese are 'dumbing down' our beautiful American Aesthetic and English aesthetic and MINDSET as well- remember the gorgeous Cannon Mills, Utica and Vera towels and sheet sets with lovely roses and florals from the 1970's when I was little??? Now, ugly prison gray on everything- it is horrid and I will NEVER be dumbed down by Chinese thinking that 'we are all the same' NO WAY! Kimberly

Love her eclectic style and the mixture of antique with modern touches added. Her taste in art is exquisite. Every square inch of her home is full of such interesting items, colours and textures. - a reflection of her bubbly personality A feast for the eyes and yet warm and inviting. Just love it.

I love how the British accent is seeping in naturally for her. I have a family member who moved to England, and in less than a year, ‘lost’ her Jamaican accent completely! Hehehe. She sounds lovely and unpretentious.

I was being sarcastic about my family member “losing“ her accent. Her less than one year accent was fake as a three dollar bill, but this young lady’s mixed phonics is authentic.
This is by far my number one Homeworthy. Ambrice’s enthusiasm and joy taking us around her stunning home is palpable. Her taste is immaculate mixing old and new and creating what could so easily be a film set - yet looks welcoming and happily Lived in. How lucky is her son playing and sleeping in such a special room - with educational pictures and toys - Luved every minute 👏

Brilliant! I'm from Rock Hill, grew up in Charlotte and graduated from NC State School of Design. I ended un in Germany for 12 years, Berlin and Hamburg, with a brief stay in London. I'm in Oklahoma after post-Cvid NYC... So glad to see Black American expats thriving! Such an elegant home and vibe! CHEERS!

This tour is the first Homeworthy home tour that I can honestly say was loads of fun. I also love collecting items from my travels: Oriental rugs, art, other textiles. Her home is like walking through a store with my mouth wide open. ❤❤❤

First let me start by saying I know that her grandma, her mawmaw, would be very, very, very proud of her and the intelligent, educated, sophisticated beautiful young women that she is. While this is not my style, I can appreciate the beauty, and the thought and time this lovely homeowner and her husband have spent in creating this amazing home! I am addicted to Homeworthy and this is my absolutely favorite video ever! I wish Ambrice could do a regular feature or have her own channel to describe the treasures she finds and share a bit of her explorations. Most designers today like to juxtapose pieces with some radically opposing colors, patterns, styles, etc. It seems like an obligatory trend these days and, imo, very few can do this in a way that is pleasing to the eye, rather than irritating. Ambrice really stands out in her artistic vision to combine all she finds beautiful in a way that builds harmony and warmth, because it’s natural to her, never contrived. Her enthusiasm for her many fascinating passions is a delight and inspiring. I learned so, so much on so many levels and in so many areas that it’s astonishing, a reflection of how articulate, knowledgeable and compelling she is, with charm and humor mixed in! I wish her and her family every continued joy and success in their stunning home and future adventures. p.s. I love her Instagram items!

Her home is so beautiful, she has a serious gift for finding things that go so well together. I had to watch more than once in fear of missing detail. Her eloquently described stories made it really enjoyable which is not always the case in this format and so appreciated because it added to the beauty instead of diminishing. The shot of her in that dress sitting on her rose velvet sofa I predict to be the well deserved money shot! Beautifully done, love this channel so much.

Someone told me 50 years ago that a home should be a place that your shoulders go down, not up - in other words where your body relaxes when you walk through the door, not tense up - and this woman has got it exactly right. Like me, she's found a colour scheme she likes and will stick to for many years. Simply stunning!!

The home is absolutely stunning filled with pieces that stand on their own but blend together and flow. So much of the decor has a story and here and there amongst the elegance are elements of fun. Our hostess is lovely and her dress is simply gorgeous.

I really enjoyed this tour. While as a minimalist, I wouldn't have so many things in my home, I do appreciate the calming mood that her arrangements bring into her home.

"I really don't think that you should be limited by your budget to live with beautiful things." That was a rather poignant and meaningful sentiment to hear in a video such as this. I am a new and single Homeowner- a young woman with the tremendously good fortune to have been able to purchase my 1945 Colonial Revival Home outright, in cash and therefore, have no mortgage. That was a massive goal for my Life, achieved, because I am also legally disabled with a severe Blood Disorder since birth. I can no longer in Life work full-time. I live on disability and though I have lovely shelter to own, actually filling my Home and executing the decor elements that I yearn for has been a slow and financially challenging task. I adore vintage items from consignment and thrift stores as well as the occasional antique. On the days I am physically well enough to do so, I have painted and immersed myself in my Home's aesthetic with as much creativity as I can muster. I am so inspired by this woman's elegance, sophistication, and high-level of historical knowledge. 🖤

Love this! I'm also originally from Birmingham, AL and married to a Brit and my grandfather's name was Hendrix! Sadly, we are in the PNW, not the English countryside, although the weather is pretty much the same. So much about this tour made me smile. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This heritage home is so well done..Fabulous care of the frontal Ivy..the front entrance is perfect! This home takes on a life of its own..Every room has perfect temperament, tone,.. the colors and textures are stunning..Her front room with those gorgeous blue chairs speaks to me..This lady has set the right tone..such flow of ease.. but high style. Love the lighting throughout this home. The owner is not only stunningly beautiful.. but she has an expert eye..and her decoration style is interesting, well grounded.. and elevated. Her own furniture line is incredible!!
