That is still dirty after the suggested cleaning technique... it would be good to show how to clean it so it looks like it did when it was new.
Due to the intense heat, the stainless steel will discolor so it will not look brand new unless you decide to sand it.
Well why would you scrape the flavoring off?
I like using a little "Bar Keepers Friend". Worked good for me. Thanks for the reminder about the "grain" of the steel.
BKF is so great. It's an amazing product.
Does yours actually get clean? The video above did not get it clean with soap/degreaser. Does BKF get it truly clean?
Could you just use an Oven Cleaner? Wait 10 minutes and you should be able to just wipe it off with a paper towel.
