Might have to give scrap dinos another spin... Not giving up on the Dinos yet!
The problem with Dino is it's a two card combo. Most cards nowadays only need 1 card to work. Heck, even RDA only needs a single card to combo. Also Dino needs a lot of cards for it's engine which leaves you little room left for non-engine cards.

I got to Diamond 1 with the new dinos. I didn't want to rank up to Master, so I kept scooping but I got from Diamond 5 to Diamond 2 with the new Dino support. The decks I see you post are good but your trying to run too many things for the dinos to be consistent. Basically, make it more simple. I've found dinos are great going second for a swift otk.
If you mean regular standard xeno dinos with hantraps and other staples is better Agreed. BUT I think MDC just wanted to showcase the new cards and try to make them work.
I've been having decent success using the calamity lock with dino's as you can do it under elf with a baronne. I did have to side in 2 red reboots because if they imperm scrap wyvern it is prety much over.
I been trying to muck about with Dinos as well and trying to see how to get both Colossus and Archnemeses Protos onto the field with some other stuff
Managed it once or twice, but yeah Dinos need way more support to make them competitive
well you tried your best to cook bro it's all good such a hard format I cannot get to master 1 this season myself frustrating
the problem with the evolite line for me is that it needs to discard a card and if you start with Diabell you need to send another card to grave, so it's a 1 card, 2 discard combo that left you with only 2 from starter hand
Really sad that dinos are still power crept, i feel like the issue is the transends dont do anything new for the deck, especially in MD where elf is legal and acomplishes what zowler does wothout having to play garnets. Maybe they will flesh out the transcends as an architype and make dino do somthing new. The deck needs a 1 card combo badly.
I fell like the extra normal effect of horned saurus would be a great tool to play through interuption if the deck got a one card starter. Although even then it requiring tera as a material doesnt make it easily accessable.
Will forever love the dinos though as the first deck I picked up when I started playing yougioh again.
8:28 You cannot Fusion Summon during the Damage Step, so it doesn't matter if you send Scheiren to the GY with UCT, Scheiren is not allowed to trigger in the Damage Step.
It's a hard season honestly. Rescue ACE, Snake-Eye, Labrynth are all incredibly strong right now with next to no weaknesses. Branded and Mathmech are still very strong too, and all of them are pretty impervious to hand traps.
Going second it feels like you need to draw a perfect hand, and there are so many fooodgates in random decks, even on ladder.
i think i made a deck with evol and snake eyes thats viable. its 45 but the sample draws im getting are just too good to say no to. yeah it can brick but i think its a lot more usable

Well damn dude, that's disappointing to hear. I joined up because of Dinos a long time ago. It's like hearing Jaden BR giving up on Heroes or Lightdragon giving up on Blue-Eyes. RIP Dino hopes.
Haven't given up hope fully. Still a solid way to get to master I'm moreso talking about how they can compete once you make it to master. Might try some other builds I'll never fully give up on dinos. Just maybe for this format.

i stopped playing yugioh around the time where uct was still new and was one of the better boss monsters so everyone was using it

i have a question, why do you run only 1 copy of uct? to my memory, we used to run 2/3 copies
Combo decks in this handtrap format are genuinely tough to play right now. Sadly snake eyes with one card does wayyyy too much so it always feels like you’re playing from behind. Fuck one combos :(
i think making decks for the next event, like fusion dinos would be more fun to watch in a tier zero format

I am playing a version with the diabellestar and the evols engine (the level 1 fire, the new lever 4 SR and evo-singularity), the new dino fusion is pretty useless imo

Yeah, playing dinos today is play a gambling deck in a gambling game, gambling in draw and gambling in opp's hand, go second is miserable. Just play Snake Eyes with lullaby of obedience, or stun with heat wave

Misc is it's best card, but at the same time it's a chokepoint when people ashed it. And bcz this deck is resource heavy, it cannot use many handtraps and lose when going 2nd.
My best with Dinos in this current format is Master 2, and then downgrade again to Master 5 😂
@master duel central iam at my 5th attempt using dinos to get master 1 because of maxx c going second 9 times in a row and dinos number 1 problem is BRICKING i go first once in 10 games and i either get maxx c with no out or i brick U NEED MISC without it and uct u lose ash called by and maxx c shut this deck down tbh iam sick amnd tired of using dinos as soon as i get master 1 once IAM DONE i quit dinos twice used swordsoul and adamancipator i got master 1 both times first time the last day of season 29 i played over 20 days straight the final day i played 10 hours i still didnt get master 1 SO dinos aren't good anymore BRICKING MAXX C ASH CALLED BY SHUTS THIS DECK DOWN
Ngl scrap Dinos before all the xeno stuff still feels better than what we have. Why? Because scrap raptor can make bagooska under maxx c unlike normal Dinos. And the deck I play with I run 3 raptors and 3 lost world so he can actually be a combo piece. As much as I wanna use Lars i actually think scraps just make Dinos play better into maxx c. However it makes u weaker to ash although sometimes bagooska just holds things down even if u are forced to make because u got ashed
The end board I currently set up in it is 3 neg Apollo, a borrelload, UCT and either a laggia or a dweller depending how I’m feeling. Dweller kinda kills snake eyes and laggia is if I gotta feeling it could be a spell or trap heavy deck. (Nib isn’t real so I don’t make a dolkka to protect my wyrm)
Also I play small world to just make custom hands and also use pot of p because u can still otk through it
It so sad dino power crept now. Even now if your ask the best dino deck, people will said dinomorphia over original dino deck with UCT. Despite dinomorphia playstyle is completely different compare to original dino deck with UCT. Dino is the 1st deck i built when Masterduel 1st time released. Now if want choose dinomorphia and dino combo deck as the best dinosour deck, sorry to said i have to give the best dinosour deck title to dinomorphia over original dino combo deck.

A two card combo deck in a year of fire is too slow
The deck need so much engine cards, it doesn't have room for non-engine and other board breaker
RDA can even do 1card combo now.
Dino and unchained have a unique and fun playstyle. They really need a support
-1card starter ( circular like effect)
-a poplar effect like
-a fieldspell that searches engine
It's really now the time to make this deck a 1card combo deck
