But you're right, basically only Adobe software ever fully utilised it, which is a shame because it has potential!
I loved using the Touch Bar when I was video editing in Final Cut and when producing in Logic Pro, and I enjoyed the ability to customise it, I could have the icons I wanted on it (for example I replaced the Siri button with the launchpad button). It was the most useful thing, I’ve gotten used to not having it but I’d love if they brought it back.
Fr I loved it so useful
Even more controversial opinion: They shouldve put the touch bar on the new 14/16 mbp
Anthony had a good prediction
1 - support face ID AND fingerprint
2 - create an iphone with the size and look of the 12 mini, but add the third camera and latest features
The girl that wanted laptops gone probably has never worked with anything that requires... an actual computer.
I think you forgot the MacOS part. also keyboard cases exist. Macbooks are just redundant.
After trying out an iPad Pro for photo editing, I disagree strongly. Yes it's powerful and has an epic screen, but just copying the photos from camera to iPad was a series of major hurdles. Every. Single. Time.
Something that's trivial on a modern MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt ports and an actual file system.
