Elliot Dural, the Patriarch of the Lion clan, goes over the various mistakes he's made in his life as he now faces a new challenge that may lead to bloodshed and war. He begins to leave the compound in the dead of night, making a decision that may end his own life for the sake of his clansmen. Greeting him at the exit is Ida, one of the eldest remaining clansmen and mother figure to all, she begs Elliot to rethink his decision and reminds him that the burden of their fate does not solely rest on his shoulders. This discussion between the wise leaders of the Lion clan is but one instance in a chain of events that will spark the conflict throughout Clandestine. Here is where our story begins...

To all of you wondering why it stopped. They explained it. The funding from the kickstarter paid for episodes 1 and 2 but for further episodes they would need more money and also time. On top of that they were all working on other projects and some of them on Hollywood projects. They tried to get Clandestine took up by a network but no one wanted it so they put it on the shelf for now until they can find a network who is willing to pick it up as a series. Sadly I dont think that will ever happen, I would love to see this series completed.

@Jose Diaz it does. but everytime netflix gets there hands on shit it either goes super south especially in smaller indie t ype movies or they are really good. if it could be where they fund it only and they have no involvement or say on things that would be cool. but that wouldnt happen when netflix is the one funding the show.

To be honest, It smashed my expectations I thought it was going to be all one clan one episode bragging or denying something but it actually was pretty good. The kid put me off at first but it kinda did fit so it was okay. Wolf and Eagle so cool, Lion the original good guys haha
it's a shame that this got so few views, because it's pretty darn good for CZcams series. Especially independent one. I don't know what their intentions are for the future with this project, but I hope the people who put their trust, time, and money into this will get their return.

Don't know why they didn't just go to netflix with this. I've seen more crappier, low budgeted movies/shows on NF. There's no way NF would've turned 'em down. I mean it has diversity and a female lead - that's literally all the ingredients for a NF produced show....

Waited for a long time for Clandestine, And to tell you the truth I kinda figured the first if not the few first episodes wouldn't deliver their massage that they are trying to tell us.
But I have faith in this, wev'e all seen alot of the footage they have been uploading online and there's a reason we all stuck around and became somewhat of a fans, even if it is a footage of the serias or any other videos they posted it was all great !
I have faith in you Thousand Pounds and all the people over there trying their best to answer our desires !

Now that Badlands is officially over and Warrior may not get a 3rd season, I really do hope you guys try to make this happen again
Love it. I wish more came out. I know that the film industry is so competitive and that is part of the reason for the failure to produce more episodes.
I am still waiting and will continue to wait and support the channel.

Thus far, it kinda has an "underworld" lycans and vamps vibe to it...so the decision for vintage and tribal clothing set in a modern world is forgivable. These clans are pretty occult so it wouldnt make sense for them to all have the same or even similar styles. Great first episode. Wish we could have been let in on what mistakes exactly were made by the lion clan to get to this point so we can grasp the gravitas of things, but ill be patient. I mean we've been waiting all this time for these episodes and now theyre coming...too early to throw peanuts. Good Job Guys.
P.S. Eagle Clan Folks Are Kinda Milking That Serious Uchiha Family Approach lol. Tone it doooooooooown.

I for example at first thought that yes - some of the acting was not like keanu reeves... but hey - for 3 days i have watched this thing about 4-5 times COMPLETELY - from start to end!
I feel passionate and NERVOUS about the upcoming story and series!
I have not felt so thrilled since i was a kid! Part of me DO wants to be among u guys, so i salute you for the amazing work done on this project!
Oh, and just like in 5th grade i actually few in love with both the Blonde heroine (Amy) and the Chinese girl that escorted the Eagle Patriach. Maybe i feel like i'm back in elementary - growing again, lol! :)

Very good opening episode. Been waiting a very long time for this but I'm glad it's started. I'll be rewatching this many times.
The first episode is like an intro/trailer, the ending just makes you want to see the rest while the beginning gives some backstory.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, I thoroughly enjoyed myself while watching this episode. It doesn't have the best acting, but that doesn't take from the great special effects and fight scenes. It reminds me of the MMORPG "The Secret World" a lot. It is very dramatic, as it should be, since it seems to me that it's a sort of drama-scifi-action series. I'm looking forward to the next episodes, as I've been following this project for years and am incredibly happy with the end product.

Really liked the first episode. I love the theme and i see a lot of potencial for a series.
I enjoyed the acting, and i'm sure that the actors will grow even more with the progression of this project.
Things seemed a bit rushed, but i think it was because you guys wanted to thrill us with as many content as possible. Well, that worked out for me, since i really want to understand why things happened that way :P

After what feels like forever, THIS IS AWESOME!
To be fair to those are judging the show based on this... Most shows are either bought or canned based on the pilot alone. If this was to be their pilot I don't see this going far. The promo and the footage shown after the episode showed a lot of promise and got me excited. But the episode itself was marred by convolution. It was back story... But the back story of this council meeting was missing.

I am loving the style of the series and look forward to how this plays out. Since I've watched Baruti's prologue a thousand times I am anxious to see where he fits in the story. I take it that this was the moment the Eagle clan's patriarch died ; nullifying some sort of pact between Samson and Baruti that they will not kill each other...Well, it's too far to tell since this will be the story of the Lion clan.
It is finally here. I want to watch it but I feel like waiting for all the episodes and marathoning it would be so much more satisfying. Just want to let you know I can wait for this and I am happy I have stuck around.

For those bitching and criticizing, I paid to watch Hollywood movies who seemed to put in less effort than this. You are watching a free full scale production. Get off their dicks and give them some time to see what they can do.
About the giving them more time comment, everything for this webseries has already been filmed, this is the extent of the directing. And don't even try comparing them to a Hollywood movie, that's not fair to them. A better comparison would be to another webseries. And isn't this two years plus from their kickstarter? How much more time would they need?
And honestly the acting (and random audio change near the end) was the only negative parts I've seen about this episode. They know how to shoot scenes, build a decent world with the plot, and have great fight choreography. But if the actors can't sell that well, it makes it that much more mediocre. And this isn't "bitching" this is an honest critique so they can do better the next season.
Finally!!!!!!! Didn't even start watching it yet and liked it.

Fantastic special effects and choreography! The plot was also quite interesting and original. As for the acting, as far as non-hollywood movies go, it wasn't half bad. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely great and very unpredictable. Although if I were to be picky, im not feeling the old then new, old then new, old then new time periods. At first it seemed old till I heard the word car. I then judge the time period by viewing their clothes, at one point its old fashion to totally new fashion in the next scene and they even collide at one point. I would very much prefer it if were set 100's of years ago although that just an opinion. Other than that this was amazing :)
I didn't notice until you mentioned that, now looking back, some of the clothing DID seem out of place. However, I'm assuming they wore it out of tradition.
I liked that the patriarch's clothing was so out of its time. His outfit did make me think that it was set at least 120 years before the present, but when I saw Williams outfit, and the patriarch and William walking beside the train, it all just seemed so badass. It's like keeping elements of the past and integrating it into modern times, like Sonic said. Tradition. Gives the story deeper feels, yo.
Well, now...that was a great way to kick off the series!

I love the themes and how the world is built but it can seem a bit overwhelming. Definitely leaves a lot of the audience asking questions, which is good, but I feel there was a lot introduced all at once.
William at least provided someone we can relate to with him not knowing what the hell was going on. lol Either way, I enjoyed the choreography and was often shocked by how quickly things escalated. I cannot wait to see what you put out with next. Hopefully we won't have to wait until next New Years to see it!

Its finally here! Although for a Pilot, I kind of wished there was more Flashy-ness and Fighting than this. I'm kind of disappointed just from the expectation of everything that was created from this channel especially since the channel itself has been off the radar for a while. I'm hoping the coming Episodes will pan out awesome.

Tough critics, but Thousand Pounds needs it, if they wish to get bigger.
I'm quite pleased with the first episode. Mainly, because it's the first episode! The scenery was nice, from start to finish. Yeah, the acting could be a little more natural, and less forced, but it's easily compensated for, by choreography, which shouldn't always be the trade-off in every episode.
Overall, I'm excited for the next episode, and can't wait to see what improvements are made from the first. #Clandestine

As for the time spent...I'm sure they've already filmed scenes for the next few episodes already! So it's not like they spent these two years filming for JUST this episode.

I remember watching this when it was a backers-only release, and I still find it as good as I did back then. The wait was worth it, and I'm still curious to see how this is really going to turn out in the end (a full series or perhaps it will become a movie of sorts instead like you guys mentioned?). I don't think it is entirely necessary but I think some sort of introduction to the "Series' universe" would have added an extra layer to the overall view. A good example I can think of is how they did it in the Mask of Zorro. It was short, but it helped the viewer gain a better understanding on what time they were in and the actions that would take place. I suppose you are planning to dive deeper into the mythology as you go though.

I agree this first episode deserves to be a pilot picked up by a major backer. lionsgate or maybe universal. much better than the teasers.
More power to the brothers for accomplishing this. People have to remember, these guys are amateurs and that's okay. Film making and writing isn't easy. You need skills in many areas, including role casting. I think that this is a step in the right direction especially for amateurs. Right On fellas! Keep it up and keep growing!
