I love love love your presentations! I am looking forward to hear more! Recently I have been studying them yet again. I was studying about Paul’s 40 day journey from Rome back to Jerusalem-at the time he was warned of the danger he faced by going back to Jerusalem. On one of your slides you had Paul traveling from Jerusalem to Rome (the opposite direction) as the danger. I know that both locations presented a danger for Paul. In researching my genealogy, I discovered that I was related to Linus-he was the first bishop of Rome during this time period. However the Catholic’s narrative is that Peter was the first bishop of Rome and then Linus became the second. But we know that from the beginning, Peter was always an Apostle and he was never a Bishop (nor a Pope for that matter) and Linus was never an apostle (or a pope)….but only a bishop. Linking Linus to Peter gives the Catholic “unbroken line of Succession” narrative which they use to prove their “priesthood line of authority.” They claim that Peter and Linus were Catholic Popes. Bishop Linus’s sister Gladys, had been adopted by Emperor Claudius and she was renamed Claudia. Claudia and Linus were British Celts and they were the children of chieftain King Caratacus, whom Claudius conquered and brought to Rome. Claudia ended up marrying Rufus Pudens (a Roman Soldier) and they were given a palatial home in Rome by Claudius. This home became the first Church of Rome….it was an underground safe place where Paul and other Christians would gather for safety and instruction. It could have even been that Rufus and Paul were half brothers. Most likely, the tent makers Aquila and Pricilla were Rufus’ parents (Aquila being Paul’s step-father). At least this could explain why Paul was a Roman citizen, a Jew, and a tent-maker.
I listened to this s couple yesrs babk & again recently. Still love it. Thanks so.much!
