DIY Bass Refinish | Orange Harley Benton Stingray

- I'm giving my Harley Benton MB-5 SBK Deluxe Series bass a new paintjob in Neon Orange, inspired by a Lamborghini.
Pigments used:
NEON BRIGHT ORANGE PIGMENT, EFPI0450-BAG05
NEON KARAT YELLOW PIGMENT, EFPI0449-BAG05
LUXURY GHOST GOLD PEARL PIGMENT, EFPI0095-BAG05
Spraygun: AirGunsa impact junior AZ4 HTE-S, but I'm still a noob.
The special dry sanding paper is called: Tolecut Kovax

i asked my luthier to do the same to my harley benton pj5 but he refused cause the paint job will cost more than the value of the bass. So sad

Spray cans are more convenient though. But the biggest advantage of spray guns is being able to spray thick filler clear coats to build up clear coat quick (for level sanding)
This bass. Is perfect. Does it come in 4 string?
They do make a 4 string of this as well, on Thomann it's called "Harley Benton MB-4 SBK Deluxe"
@ Thanks. Orange and black is really my thing. I do like the Ernie Ball Stingrays. I've only played around with a couple. Are the HB's better?
@@dovleac the HBs are very cheap, but they are good. Sterlings are surely better and Ernie Balls are probably perfection.
