Cute ideas I would never have thought of. Bird feeder is cute but we have squirrels that tear that up in minutes.
I use ice cube trays to make what I call Pupsickles. I just mix yogurt and a fruit together, and then freeze them. You could really make Pupsickles out of a lot of things your dog would love as a treat! I make them for summer time treats! The minute I say, Who Wants A Pupsickle, all 3 dogs come running!

I love the bird feeder idea! Just please, if you are going to make one, remember to keep it stocked everyday. All the birdies will tell each other where they can get food and continue to come back to your feeder. I've had one family of birds that I have fed for at least 3 generations and I take it pretty seriously.

I love feeding the birds. They're so fun to watch. And, they really must be telling their friends, because I've had them flock here, by the dozens. Then starving feral kitties started coming, and I started feeding them, too. It's not a good mix, so I need to figure out a better placement of their food. They, too, tell all of their friends. I want to feed all of the stray animals, but I have to restrain myself!
@@mamacitabambi3558 I've always been the one that ends up feeding all the animals in the neighborhood lol. I had a rabbit last year that must have had a burrow somewhere close and she had 2 babies. I think a cat got one of the babies 😞 and I ended up feeding the other baby for months after mom took off. That bunny would eat from my hand by the time it was old enough to go make it's own family. I used to have to watch when I left the drive because it would come running out whenever it saw one of us. Then one day it just disappeared. It kinda breaks my heart.
But yeah, the birds are definitely telling each other because they all seem to know whenever I refill the feeder. They are so fun to watch.
I love feeding all of the animals 💛 Years ago, when I could work, I was on a job and all of these animals started showing up. One was a bunny, and I fed it food I had brought. It had very long hair, and was a bit matted. It would come quite a lot. 2 does and 2 spotted fawn twins showed up every day I worked. Then it was down to only 1 doe, then 1 fawn. That doe would come up to me, within a few feet, and she was a white tail, which they run from everything. I love animals 💛 so much. There would even be turtles that came up to us, when we were out at the man's pond.
Also, please put holes in each compartment so the rain will drain out and not spoil the seed. Great projects using such cheap products from DT! I really like the lantern for outside. Tyfs Shannon, I love them all ❤

Great hacks for using ice trays! 😘
Instead of coffee, I use an ice tray with a lid to make tea icecubes. I always have a gallon of tea in my fridge and every time I make a new pitcher of tea, I fill the ice tray with tea. Then when I fill my tumbler with tea, I add the frozen tea cubes. And my tea doesn't get diluted as I drink it.
I've actually been thinking about putting milk in the ice tray, especially when it starts coming closer to the expiration date. There are certain chocolate baked treats that require a glass of ice cold milk. Adding milk cubes to your glass of milk will keep it ice cold all the way through your chocolate treat! 😚
I've seen people put sliced lemons, limes, oranges, etc. to add to their tropical drink. So I thought adding some cherry juice to the ice tray and a few cherries would make a nice addition to a drink.🍒 Especially soft drinks! 😉
There are so many things that you can do with an ice tray and now you have all of us thinking about what else we can do with them. 😋

And So invented. Because of health haven't been able to do much. Just now able to start again. Crafts and plants are my therapy. So I am So So Thankful I found you. You are a blessing for me. I am now checking out the Dollar tree stores. They don't All have the same stuff. I'm looking for certain things. This way get familiar with what is. I live in small town in country. I like the little pot of flowers w/ magnet for refrigerator, that was really cute !!
Another idea for you is to put potting soil in ice cube tray & plant your seeds to get flowers or vegetables seedlings started in the spring! After they get started, just pop out soil & seedling & replant in small planter.
(You could even put an overlapping piece of plastic in each cube then the soil & seeds so when its time to replant you can just lift one out at a time & set in new pot minus the plastic. Or just scoop out & repot.)
I love fetch.. I use The ice cube trays from dollar tree with the lids and I put coffee creamer in them and then pop one or two in my coffee

I’m a home care nurse. Long ago I noticed there were 7 spaces available to turn these into quickie pill boxes.
Could be used short or long term & are stackable.
I loved the lantern, but might use part of another tray as a lid to cut the dreaded GLARE😆

I use ice cube trays for my jewelry. Great for earrings and rings as it keeps them neatly separated and easy to just grab on the go!!

I work in a small gift store where we sell wonderful candles and wax melts. I let people know that when they have a candle scent that they like and the wick has run out, they can use a double-broiler to melt the rest of the wax in the candle and then pour is into a ice cube tray. After is hardens them you have wax melts.

I was GLAD to see the COFFEE CUBES! That's a GREAT one I've done for years.
In addition to coffee cubes, I also boil the carcass of baked chicken to make bone broth and then freeze in ice cube trays to store in zip freezer bags for future recipes. 8 cubes is 1 cup.

Just a helpful tip. If U R gonna make a ice cube tray bird feeder that then hangs from a Sheppards Hook, PLEASE🙏🏻
make the twine strings short enuf, SO that when the birds r eating, they won’t have 2 worry about cats easily pouncing & catching (& eating) them!!! So,
U might want 2 do a wee bit of measuring 2 figure out what length of shepherds hook u will need + how long R the twine pieces (that hold up the feeder)
R gonna need 2 b👌🏻. Don’t fret,

Bird watching & feeding is not only lots of fun, it helps all of us in the long run, bc the birds do help 2 pollinate., which is smth that we desperately need 2 nurture, & help 2 keep it hap- pening & expanding. This is MORE IMPORTANT than ever b4!! Our bees R STRUGGLING & even dying, & we aren’t sure why. So, encouraging birds & bees 2 eat, fly/flit from plant 2 plant, is MORE IMPORTANT than ever!! Our feeders can help the birds by keeping them strong and healthy, among other things. Hope this helps ppl interested in songbirds🐦.
