You have to remember that a lot of these are small shops that are just starting out! They probably can’t afford scents, perfect packaging, and containers and such. So I think it’s really unfair to tell people to be more professional because their packaging isn’t great. You pay for the slime, not the packaging and containers.
Edit- ok so I’m seeing a lot of people getting kinda annoyed at this comment, so I’m gonna say this- I see where many of you are coming from. And I also think that it is fair to point out that the packaging isn’t the packaging you would be used to having in normal slime shops. But I don’t think it’s fair to knock points off if it didn’t hurt the slime.
edit 2- a lot of these shops are also just kids trying to have fun and earn a little bit of money, so of course it’s not going to be a perfect running, professional business. i don’t rlly think it’s fair to expect that out of children. and i think it’s cool that kids are already creating and learning about how businesses work, bc it’s probably more then a lot of us were doing at that age. so honestly, just let them live, it’s not going to be perfect. ya know what i’m saying?

Not all slimes need to be scented... yes, it’s a nice touch, but it’s not necessary, unless it was advertised as scented. And one little hair made the rating go down? I don’t like it when there is hair in my slime but it’s not like it was a giant hair ball... I think that one should have been a five star tbh.

It’s about being professional and running a business when people are buying your slime. Especially when that one was just as expensive as the others. If you run a business, you have to invest in it if you want it to be successful

You're going to rate them less than 5 stars for the container being previously used? I hope they report your rating to etsy for removal. That's rediculous.
You do realize that ratings mean everything to us? Someone will see your rating and skip over the store not realizing what the rating actually says.
You're killing their business because you believe you deserve the best.
By the way, slime is created differently by lots of people and won't always feel and look the same. These people put time and effort to make these products for you.

It'sMeVanessa XD Scents can be a nice added touch (which can stick to your hands, which is nice!) but I agree. If it isn't in the description, I don't think you should expect it. Plus some people have allergies to certain essential oils.

i have a friend who’s allergic to most strong perfumes and essential oils. you can’t judge a shop completely on scent bc they may not be able to scent it for fear of their health. if they listed that it was scented and it came unscented, that would be different.

Honestly the only reason why the first cloud slime didn’t feel like a cloud slime was because u didn’t add any activator and the same was when u said the thick slime was not thick because it was too stretchy if that happens just add activator it’s not owners fault is the slime melts besides thick slimes can also be stretchy

And I didn’t say that activating slime makes it thicker I know that it makes the slime harder I was just pointing out that thick slimes can also be stretchy. And I understand that if a slime comes really over activated you can take a star away but I just don’t get how someone can take a star away just because of a melted slime or a tiny hair
Actually, almost all slime shops provide activator so you can reactivate it, even the professional ones do because they melt.
Also, every one has hair . I don't know why it's so disgusting to find it (Unless it's in food, but that's because it's a health violation. You don't ingest slime.)

Okay. So, she said that she was taking a star off for the hair and being unscented, right?
IT WASN'T JUST THE SCENT.
She mostly took the star off for being slightly unsanitary. However, because she has a personal bias towards scented slimes, she just decided to mention that the slime was unscented. I, personally, have nothing against Courtney or what she said in the video, even though I prefer unscented slimes (I'm VERY sensitive to smells).
Hope that clears up some things.

I just found this channel and it’s a good video idea but you shouldn’t have been so harsh some of these slime shops are just starting you should have given them some tips and not say that they did it wrong or that it wasn’t a proper type of slime and 1 star off for no scent - not everyone has to scent their slimes in my opinion it was a bit too harsh 😓😬

Lily Kittycat I don’t see why you have to be loaded with money to sell slime first off, and second we don’t know if they specified or not. She never showed the full description of the items, anyways. Most beginners don’t have the money to buy brand new containers, a lot of people also begin to make money out of this.. so of course they won’t be loaded with money at the start
Lily Kittycat I’m saying it to both of you actually.. And in all honesty, if you’re going out of your way to blame a person, child or not. For reusing a container which is entirely clean! Just has the sticker remains of it. Then it’s just really unfair in my opinion, who says it’s even reused.. Maybe she just changed the sticker and thought it would be a waste of money to trash it because of that (Which it is by the way.) many people who sell slime are also students, and many students struggle financially so they definitely wouldn’t trash a container just because of some sticker remains.. A good customer would not mind that as much and enjoy the actual product they paid for.

Guys, stop hating on her. This is about HER opinion and what she thinks. Some people are saying she took a star off because of scent, she’s not dumb (even though nobody said she was) she took a star off the first one for hair.
Omg it bothered me so much when she'd take off points when the slime would stick to the container, that's what happens when slime is shipped though the mail, it gets sticky!! That's why they gave you borax 🤦♀️

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the “dropper thingy” is called a pipette 😁 We use those all the time in school for Chemistry and Biology
With the first two one star cloud slimes, they didn't use instant snow. They used the diaper recipe. If you don't know what it is, it's where people soak a diaper and open it. Then they cut down the middle, and there's this wet powder. I know this because I used to use that recipe. It's wet, the diaper stuff goes everywhere, and I actually got a very terrible rash on my fingers from the slime. I still have it, and it really hurts. I recommend not playing with those slimes anymore.

The reason it wasn’t scented is because it was most likely not advertised as scented. From all you know, that person could be allergic to scents or doesn’t want people to not buy their slime because it is scented (because people can have allergies/some slimes can start stinking because they used to have a smell/because some people want to give the slime their own smell they love, thus also making it more like their own/so on).
