It's quite a dope patch and all, but for anyone who thinks feedback about 4.5 being dry had any effect on things, this stuff is in the pipeline months upon months ahead of time. They made the call at some point to have 4.5 be very content light while 4.6 would be content heavy. Perhaps something that was meant for 4.5 got delayed to 4.6, but they knew exactly what the patch would have before we even touched 4.5. And it's really not feasible to deliver patches this dense all the time. There have to be lulls and highs (this is not a specific defense of 4.5 or any specific amount of content, just that this patch is certainly not something to use as the bar). Just because they are capable of doing this for a patch does not mean they are capable of doing it every patch, nor should they be expected to. No other game does that, none.

With an LACK of variety of events.
We went back through every trailer in every patch and it was the #1 patch for least content.

If you’re gonna have a patch that’s slow that’s fine but there needs to be some content that holds players over with a daily replayability.

I defend and hype up downer patches but 4.5 was way too little.
This is a multi billion dollar company and arguably the most profitable gaming company in the space
But I am quite happy to see they came back swinging with 4.6
And it seems they needed the time to potentially add more “content series” to the cycle such as the Animated Arlecchino short.
And I’m sure they are cooking for Natlan. Excited for the future of the game.
@@UnrealDreamer I don't disagree that 4.5 was the lightest patch ever, but I do hope you know that money doesn’t solve all problems? You can not throw infinite developers at a game and get infinite content. There is a critical mass point where having too many cooks in the kitchen will actually slow down development, and I know this from personal professional developer experience.
No game company puts out quality content as regularly as HoYo does, and most games create daily content through endlessly repeatable content, which is less valuable than novel content; it is unfair to compare them. I do not believe it is fair to hold a game that only releases single-time play content to the same standard of needing to give people things to constantly do.
Also...why did you write entirely about defending your assertion that 4.5 was the driest patch when I spoke almost entirely about using 4.6 to set the bar? I never disagreed with you about 4.5's lack of content, I disagreed with expecting 4.6 levels of content every patch. It's a fallacy to look at anyone accomplish anything once and argue that that means they should be able to do it all the time.
@@UnrealDreamer I think you misconstrued what he said. I see it that low patch like 4.5 is there so a content heavy patch like 4.6 is possible. Also, more money doesnt always equal faster content development, there are upper limit in how to space things up in development.

Her boss fight doesn't look as awful as the last three, no one-shot attacks, no running-simulator, no waiting for too long, no summons, only a fair fight one against the other, I already love it
Also I'm really happy about Cyno's second story quest because the first one was actually so bad and not about him AT ALL, we didn't even learned anything about him.

This is not actually true. Her signature weapon do change into scythe that is true, but this is also worth pointing out that this only works on Arlecchino if you put her weapon on someone else it won't change to scythe which probably is obvious. What is not obvious to people who did not see leaks is that the scythe do actually also appear on f2p weapons but not in the "fully" visible effect.

I returned to Genshin about a month ago and it's criminal that the events still kinda suck. I'm too lazy to fight hard enemies or think about strategies and I suck at both the music events and Windtrace. I skipped everything in the Chiori patch and I might just do the same this time, but it sucks that I miss out on so many resources and Primogems.
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude but it's either you are burned out or that it's not the events' fault, you really just suck and doesn't know how to play those. I would understand not excelling at one or two events, but coincidentally on all of them? I think the problem lies on skill rather than the event themselves being not good and that they "suck".
Not to mention, most events only require you to finish the easiest levels to get the primogems.

@@peeenguinne3858 I believe I did say that I have skill issues already. I'm not very coordinated and my attention span is limited. I also get anxious in challenges/competitions.
@@ugotnojams6945 Genshin is 100% meant for me because it's part of the Honkai series, to which I'm committed for as long as I'm alive. I play mainly for the story, but the exploration is great too.
Arlecchino looks so mid compared to Acherom marketing, animations, etc
