There is a piece of steel under the back spring that the blade runs on so as not to wear out the g10. Really neat design.

7:57 Nah, I call that a drop point.
Spear point would be symmetrical, like a dagger blade, except only one side would be sharpened.
Even on the CRKT M16-03 it's a drop point with a generous ricasso/swedge, but still not symmetrical, even though that's quite close. Maybe they meant to call it "modified spearpoint". Sorry, ima nerd!
